Link's mission

"Yahoo! Hi, Link!" a Gerudo girl who also did not have the bird-nose, Aria said. "Is that Riveko, daughter of Chief Tamon?"

"This is official business," Riveko said. "It does not concern you."

"Chief Tamon told her to come and get me," Link said. "What're you doing here?"

"My master sent me to rather supplies for her." Aria said. "It's quite an honour to talk to the Great Gerudo Chief! I admit I'm quite jealous."

"Dammit, we do not have time to stop and chat with some peasant." Riveko said.

"Well, I better get back to my master before I am whipped again," Aria said. "It was nice talking with you."

Link and Riveko proceed to the palace.

"Just don't get any ideas," Riveko said. "While it the whole male born every hundred being king might have been a thing back then, that is never gonna happen after Ganondorf. I'm the one who is gonna run this tribe after Tamon, not you."

Link had no such delusions of Tamon handing her kingdom to him anyway. He and Riveko stepped into the throne room where Tamon was sat.

"Mother, I have brought Link here as you asked." Riveko said.

"Welcome, Link," Tamon said. "Listen carefully to what I, Chief of the Gerudo, am about to tell you. Your slumber these past few months must have been restless and full of nightmares. As the servants of evil gain strength, a vile climate prevails the land and causes nightmares to those sensitive to it. I want you to go to Hyrule and warn King Harkinian."

"You're sending him!?" Riveko asked.

"He has been chosen."
