"...if you don't mind, I'm going to interpret the past ten minutes of silence as your way of apologizing," Naruto crossed his arms at Temari, miffed that she hadn't taken him seriously about Kakashi's chronic tardiness.

"Sh-shut it," she huffed, looking away. "He could have come by already and then left upon seeing you weren't here."

"A possibility, I'll give you that. I'll make a bet with you," he then grinned.

"A bet?" she raised an eyebrow.

"We wait, and train until 3:00, or until he shows up, whichever comes first. If 3 comes first, I will buy you lunch for the entirety of your stay in Konoha, no strings attached," Naruto wagered.

"And if you win, and he shows up, expecting you to still be here?" Temari asked, putting her hands on her hips. "What do you get?"

"A boob job like the one you gave me when I helped rescue Gaara," Naruto grinned, and Temari blushed and considered it for a moment.

"... that's... Rather forward of a request Naruto..." she remarked, managing to keep her composure.

"I'm not hearing a no though, am I?" Naruto grinned. When Temari hesitated to respond, he pressed, "So how about it? Do we have a bet?"
