"Sir, Yes Sir!" Amaranthae says snapping to attention. "When Quimbiady and I went off to the east we disobeyed your orders a little bit, because we could smell raspberries away up slope and you can juice raspberries to get fruit juice to drink and we couldn't smell or hear water anywhere nearby, so we snuck up on the raspberry patch and found it on the other side of a small ridge, and what we saw down there chilled us to the bone: there are goblins in these woods. There were 6 of them we could see, three with flint spears and leather shields all male, and three with baskets picking raspberries all female, we could tell because they had no shirts on just leather loincloths and the women's tits were hanging out while the males had none and a bulge in their loincloths. We snuck back down the ridge and high tailed it back to the Rendezvous Point to wait."

"Normally I would have the two of you beaten over the buttocks with a leather belt for disobeying a direct order, but you have brought back valuable intel thereby so I will let it slide this once." You declare, glaring at them briefly, but then letting your gaze soften as they both bob their heads in acknowledgement of the rebuke. "Anyway, what did the other two of you find?"

"There is much better news on our front Sir," Keishara states, "We went down slope like you said, staying close to the edge of the woods, and found a small stream, but that's not the best news, it was flowing: out of the meadow!" She crows.

"That IS good news!" You say with a smile. "That means there must be a spring inside the meadow somewhere!"

"Our conclusion as well Sir, unless the stream marks the south west edge of it and the spring itself lies in the woods to the west." Keishara cautiously half-agrees.

"Well what are we waiting for? Let's go find out!" You declare and reform the complete unit, heading off to locate the source of the stream. Along the way you see to one final important task, just in case: "Keishara, because you followed orders properly and have shown leadership ability I am promoting you to Corporal, when I am not in charge of the unit you are the leader, is everyone understood?"

"But-!" Filandariel starts but you put a finger to her lips and mouth 'Later.' with your head turned so the others can't see, and she calms back down, then starts looking around again scanning the woods for goblins, wolves, or other dangers.

"Thank you Sir, I wont let you down!" Keishara states and moves to take point, apparently believing in 'leading from the front'.
