The snow capped mountains that rise above the highlands are a harsh place with snow year round with some areas freed under the summer sun. Here the villagers have a more average choosing of a caretaker for their mountain guardian, but this time they hand picked a woman to undergo the ritual. Liika was lazy, stubborn, and bitchy to everyone in the village so much so that they all agreed to get rid of her with a permanent vacation. They lied to her from her teenage years until her coming of age where she was lead to believe she was being made an elder for her "wisdom" when it came to finer living.
