Light burns Shadows

The champion enters the throne room, and is worse than expected. Eth'aim level up removed his weakness.

He now looks at the champion. No healer, no buffer, no stunlocker, no tank ... Just a solo weak rookie at his eyes ... The way the champion fights is not always easy to grasp, and with only a small dagger still inside the sheath, the dark lord thinks that is another dumb adventurer looking for easy xp.

The Shadow creature walks proudly, moved by pride, and arrogance, already tasting another evolution in the future. And full of himself he casts no illusions, because the champion looks like a rookie, not the teacher of the supreme magician of the kingdom.

The only fear the dark lord has is light, fire is what most mages use. Light destroys the darkness, and without darkness, Eth'aim can't be on this plane of existence. Ending a dark lord is not easy, the most adventurers can do is sending it back to the Shadow land, and rejoice until it returns.

But the champion is not an adventurer, and after seeing the arrogant Dark lord marching, the battle ends.

The dagger leaves the sheath, and makes a little spark of light, not fire from mana, or a torch ... pure light with all colours fill the throne for a moment, and without shadows the Dark Lord can't use Shadow Warping to move, to make weapons, or even to heal from the massive damage that he is taking.

Normally the Dark Lord lurks on the edges of the light casted, and waits for an opportunity to strike, but this light has no edges. In the blink of an eye is over. A small light can destroy a little the shadows of the chamber, but all together ... there is no more shadows, and the dark lord falls ... cursing his existence, and forgetting that he was the cause of his ruin.

The champion places his small dagger once more inside the sheath ... no one will know that the mightiest blade looks a rusty dagger, and that appearances can be misleading.

Ending the job the champion drains the mana of the core, and delivers the expected drop to the receptionist. The rumour of the lazy adventurer grows on the guild.
