What's next?
Life going nowhere fast
Thomas sighed in front of her sister’s bedroom. It’s been four years since Maisie had dropped out of secondary school, and her parents couldn’t give less of a crap about it. In their eyes, their daughter has always been an unwanted failure, so there was no need to correct nor encourage the girl. This had led to Maisie becoming extremely lazy.
When she dropped out, she started locking herself in her bedroom. Aside from the occasional bathroom and shower visit, as well as any meal, she never left her room anymore.
She was eighteen now, and Thomas was worried for her. She couldn’t continue living like this. So he grabbed the spare key to her bedroom, and barged into her room.
“Maisie, we nee-“

“Thomas, you wanker! You don’t just walk into one’s room like that, bloody idiot!” Maisie grabbed her bedsheet to cover herself.
“Why are you naked?!”
“It’s liberating! It’s not like I’m going anywhere!”
“That was exactly what I wanted to discuss! You cannot keep living like this. Don’t you have any aspirations?”
“No! …Well, maybe one, but you would laugh at it.”
What is Maisie’s dream?
