Chapter 19

Library
The library was just as grand as the first time around though this time I saw other nuns both young and old already seated down and reading something.
I had about an hour of free time before class and wanted to read up about today’s topic just in case I was asked.
Sitting down in a corner on the second floor I made myself at home. I had already picked out some books the day before and was slowly going through them. I wasn’t looking for anything in particular for now but mostly just skimping through them while taking some notes.
My trusty notebook had all the things I remembered from the game and I was slowly adding details that might be helpful further down the line or I just recently remembered while reading.
Unlike before I couldn’t really command my future party to go there and do this so I needed to have some context and knowledge to make my information believable or at-least halfway plausible.
For dungeons that I knew of I looked up stories associated with them and for ruins I looked into old maps.
There was a general map of this part of the continent in the library but it had many missing parts which I added in as best I could through my memory. Certain cities the human kingdoms were unaware of and very rough locations markers of places I knew but were missing of the map.
I wasn’t very skilled at drawing maps but I hoped with time it would become at-least eligible and I could use it to persuade the others saying I made this map based on all the libraries knowledge which wasn’t entirely wrong.
I couldn’t remember the exact location so I really had to look up old maps just to be sure I wasn’t placing it in totally random locations. Of course unlike those old maps all the ruins I drew actually still had useful stuff in them even if I could only recall a few items from each.
At this point I had only done the rough outline of this area and drawn the route towards the next major city with the beginner ruins and dungeons surrounding it.
I hoped to make an extensive map before the end of winter so I still had plenty of time but honestly even in the best case scenario I only remembered maybe a quarter of the locations, though I hoped that would be enough to give us a decent head start and some legroom for errors.
The journey would take neither a few month nor a year but stretch over several years time possible going up to a decade long depending on how events unfold.
Though I honestly hoped to avoid that scenario it still meant that instead of rushing ahead it might be better to take things slow and steady to avoid pitfalls.
Unlike in game I had only one life to gamble with and I knew I had to make some sacrifices along the journey to make things work out.
I sighed trying not to think about it.
At least for now I was planning things with the honest route in mind without taking any shortcuts by utilising the heroines in the background. If worst comes to worst I would need to decide on the spot but for now let’s just do things via the proper route and let future Claire take care of the problems that come up on the spot.

Waking up as a heroine
A spicy fantasy story from the opposite site of the Curtain
After a weekend of relentless trial and error, I finally broke her—corrupted her. She was the strongest-willed character in the game, resisting longer than anyone, my favorite by far. I’d barely scratched the surface of her lewd scenes, so many still locked away, taunting me. With exams looming, I figured I’d have to abandon the chase—but fate, it seems, had other plans…
