Chapter 4
by Herrin26
What's next?
Liara.
Shepard's eyes widened in surprise as she looked at Liara, who was sitting calmly with a hint of a smile on her face. "You can't be serious," Shepard said, trying to process the information. "Liara, you're a skilled asari scientist and a valuable member of this crew. You can't just... become a pet."
Liara leaned forward, her eyes sparkling with amusement. "I'm afraid it's already been decided, Commander," she said, her voice husky. "And I must say, I'm rather intrigued by the idea. It could be... liberating."
The other women in the room nodded in agreement, their faces filled with a mix of excitement and curiosity.
"Liberating?" Shepard asked, her voice laced with skepticism as she raised an eyebrow. She leaned back in her chair, her eyes fixed intently on Liara, searching for any sign of hesitation or doubt.
Liara's smile grew wider, and she nodded slowly, her long, slender neck bobbing up and down. "Yes, liberating," she repeated, her voice low and husky. "Think about it, Commander. No more responsibilities, no more stress, no more worries about the fate of the galaxy. Just the freedom to exist, to please, and to be pleased."
The other women in the room nodded in agreement, their faces filled with a mix of excitement and curiosity.
Shepard's eyes narrowed, her brow furrowed in concern. "But you would basically be a sex ****," she argued, her voice firm but laced with a hint of desperation. She couldn't believe what she was hearing, couldn't fathom why Liara, of all people, would agree to such a thing.
Liara's smile never wavered, but a hint of mischief danced in her eyes. "I prefer the term 'pet," she said, her voice husky and confident. "And I think it's a small price to pay for the freedom to exist without the weight of responsibility."
"What would her duties be?" Shepard asked, trying to keep her voice level and professional.
Liara stood up, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Well, as a pet, she would be expected to fulfill certain needs and desires of the crew. This could include physical intimacy, companionship, and entertainment. She would be free to roam the ship, but would be expected to be available to anyone who calls for her at any time."
"And what about her own needs and desires?" Shepard asked, her brow furrowed in concern.
"She would be taken care of, of course," Miranda interjected.
"You said the 'pet' would be naked at all times," Shepard remembered, her eyes scanning the room as she spoke. "Are you going to do that to Liara? Your friend?" She asked the crew, her voice laced with a mix of concern and incredulity.
The room fell silent, with all eyes on Liara, who was still standing, a serene smile on her face.
Miranda spoke up, her voice calm and matter-of-fact. "Of course, Commander. That's part of the arrangement. Liara will be naked at all times, no exceptions."
Shepard's gaze snapped back to Liara, who was watching her with an unwavering gaze.
"What rules would she have to follow?" Shepard asked.
Liara took a deep breath, her eyes never leaving Shepard's. "I would have to follow certain rules, of course," she said, her voice steady and sure. "I would be expected to be obedient and submissive to the crew at all times. I would have to be available to them whenever they call for me, and I would have to fulfill their needs and desires to the best of my abilities."
Shepard's eyes narrowed, her brow furrowed in concern. "And what about your own needs and desires?" she asked, her voice firm but laced with a hint of desperation.
Liara took a deep breath, her eyes never leaving Shepard's. "I would still have needs and desires, of course," she said, her voice steady and sure. "But I would have to learn to fulfill them in different ways. I would have to find pleasure in pleasing others, and in being pleasured by them. I would have to learn to be content with the simple things in life, and to find joy in the little moments."
"Why didn't I get a vote in this?" Shepard asked, her voice laced with frustration.
"It was a unanimous decision, Commander," Miranda replied. "We didn't think it was necessary to involve you in this matter."
"But I am the commander of this ship, and these are my crew members," Shepard argued. "I should have a say in what happens to them."
"We understand that, Commander," Tali interjected. "But this is something that we as a crew have decided to do for ourselves. It's not about you, it's about us."
Shepard's eyes locked onto Liara's, searching for any sign of hesitation or doubt. But Liara's expression remained resolute, her nodding becoming more vigorous as Shepard spoke. "If Liara is certain," Shepard said, her voice firm but laced with a hint of concern. "I want to be certain she will be safe and no one abuses her." She left no room for arguing on that.
The room fell silent, with all eyes on Shepard as she emphasized her point. Liara's nodding slowed, and she took a deep breath before speaking. "I understand, Commander," she said, her voice calm and steady. "And I appreciate your concern.
"We actually had an idea for that," Tali said, breaking the silence that had settled over the room. Her voice was soft and measured, and she spoke with a quiet confidence that commanded attention. "Liara's rest area and bedroom will be your quarters, Commander," she continued, her eyes locked on Shepard's. "That way you can keep an eye on her."
