Liara messages Miranda

Miranda checked on her omni device which had gone off and looked to see messages from Liara. “Shepard is making progress. I suspect she’ll be awake in 5 days,” Liara said.

Miranda’s eyes widened. She couldn’t believe it. If Liara was right then the Lazarus Project was actually ahead of schedule compared to last time. “What is it?” Jack asked noticing Miranda was distracted.

“Shepard will wake soon,” Miranda said. “She’ll be… back.”

Jack paused she noticed the look on Miranda’s face. She wrapped an arm around her. Kissing her forehead. “You did a good thing, Miri. Shepard will owe you twice now.”

“What if she’s upset? Mad? I mean what have I done?” Miranda said. “Bringing someone back to life twice. Instead of letting them move on in peace.”

Samara looked at Miranda with empathy. “Miranda, you remember when I had the conflict with my daughter, Morinth,” Samara said.

Miranda nodded. “Yes, I remember.”

“Even after her **** there wasn’t anything I wouldn’t give to have her back,” Samara said. “Your ability to give someone another chance at living… that’s a rare gift. Shepard will understand that.”

Miranda nodded. “Right.”

“Enough about Shepard,” Jack said. “Come on, let’s live a little. Shepard will be back soon. We can worry about that when it happens. I say. Let’s be daring today.”

Miranda raised an eyebrow. “What did you have in mind?”

“Well…” Jack said. “I think you already know…”

Jack gave Miranda a look and Miranda’s face turned bright red. “Here?”

Jack grinned as she whispered. “On your knees.”

Miranda gulped. She looked at Samara but she also had an amused look. “Might as well. Thessia is a very liberal planet. No one cares what you do here.”

Miranda nodded. “Fine. Jack, tonight I’m yours to command.”

“That’s Daddy Jack to you…” Jack said.

“B-but…” Miranda blushed. “That’s only for the bedroom.”

Jack whispered. “You know your safe word. But until you use it. You’ll call me Daddy like you’re supposed to.”
