Liara feels guilty

Liara looked at Shepard who had turned away from her and felt guilty for stopping Shepard’s fun. Liara gently rested a hand over Shepard’s shoulder and gazed down at her. Liara frowned as she realized Shepard was holding back tears. “Hey… it’s okay… we can find something to do,” Liara said.

Shepard sighed. “I-I’m sorry… I just… I was trying to do something special for you. I’m such an idiot. I just wanted to make you feel happy.”

“Hey, I am happy,” Liara said. “I’m honored that you even thought to do something like this.”

“But it doesn’t matter,” Shepard said. “I spent a lot of time planning this day and… it’s all gone to shit. I’m sorry you have to be naked because of my stupidity.

“Hey!” Liara yelled. “Don’t talk about yourself like that. It’s not stupid. You just… Shepard…”

Shepard shook her head. “Let’s just forget about the whole thing… I just want to knock myself out for 12 hours so I can get dressed.”

Liara sighed… she really needed to make it up to Shepard. She knew how much Shepard always put into their special days together. Would it really hurt to maybe just spend the day naked with Shepard and see what else she planned? Liara sighed. “Shepard… it may not be an asari tradition, but… I think it’ll be fun to live it. Let’s forget about everything and let’s just do what you planned.”

Shepard turn to Liara. “Are you sure? You don’t have to.”

Liara kissed Shepard on the cheek. “I’m sure. I’m eager to see at least what you had initially in mind.”

Shepard smiled. “Alright, but now you have to commit to whatever happens.”

Liara gulped unsure if she would end up regretting doing this.
