What's next?
Liara can’t answer
“I…I don’t remember. It was so long ago!” Liara cried. “Shepard, you know me. You know who I am.”
“No, I don’t,” Shepard said. “Who are you? Where is Liara T’Soni?!”
“What are you talking about!” Liara yelled. “I am Liara.”
“Then tell me one thing that only you would know,” Shepard said. “What’s my middle name?”
“Elizabeth,” Liara said. “Your middle name is Elizabeth.”
“Wrong,” Shepard said. “I don’t have one. Elizabeth was a name given to me by the Alliance. If you were real, you would know that. Now tell me who you are and where the real Liara T’soni is or I’ll blast a hole through your skull and leave you here.”
“So… you figured it out…” Liara said. “I’m surprised you took so long. I guess I played my part well.”
“You can only dream of being the real thing,” Shepard said. “But the real one is smarter than you. Better than you’ll ever be. So what was the plan? Force me into a lifelong contract? Force my friends against me?”
“You don’t know the half of it,” the fake Liara said.
“Now, am I going to have to put a bullet in your skull? Or are you going to answer my question?”
