Lexi's here!

"Hey Lexi!" You say happily, walking up to the bench press she's lying on at the moment.

She tilts her chin downwards, to get a look at you, then smiles and racks the barbell before sitting up.

"Debbie! Are you here for real, or am I having that dream again?"

Her shoulders and rising and falling with breath, thanks to the strain she was just having with that weight, but her face is bright and happy. She was grinning a good bit even before you came, so she's totally over the moon right now. And speaking of bright things, the casual clothes she changed into!

Lexi's got on a lime green crop top, which made you realise how rare it is to see lime clothes. It really makes her stand out. It says "Go Dog!" over the chest of it in bright pink punk-style lettering, which gives the shirt an overall watermelon feel thanks to candy companies and their invasive marketing strategies. She's also got a baggy blue tracksuit on her lower half, with white socks and runners at the end of their pant legs.

"Did you stick around to study with Miranda, at all?" She asks. "She's a good girl, y'know. She tries really hard, and she's mad generous."

"Yeah, she is!" You agree, nodding enthusiastically. "Those notes were super in-depth and pretty to look at."

"You should hang out with her more, if you've got time." Lexi says. "She likes ya."

You tilt your body to the side, trying to get a good view of the barbell weights to see what Lexi's benching at the moment. Lexi does a shocked expression and puts her arms over her top half in an 'x' shape, as if you were trying to ogle her or something, but you ignore that because it is a dumb joke and not even accurate to reality.

It looks like she's got four 12kg discs on the bar, meaning it's 48kg in total. Not bad! You think. You're not so hot on the numbers, you kinda need to feel the weight to visualise it.

"You been working out much, yourself?" Lexi asks. You shrug nonchalantly, because {if@ Strength>8}you are not a boastful braggart{elseif Speed>8}you are not a boastful braggart{else}then there's some mystique to the fact you've been a bit slacking{endif}. "Dude, pretty soon, I'm gonna be punching through walls and crap. Concrete ones, I mean. Just for fun. That's my aim."

"Hey, I'll also go for that!" You say. It's important to set yourself realistic goals, but until now you didn't have one. This is perfect.

Lexi purses her lips and strokes her chin.

"Could I perhaps sway you to try kicking through concrete walls instead? You're already so pretty, I can't even imagine what would happen if you got all leggy too."

You hesitate. Punching looks cooler, but you don't want to disappoint Lexi, even when she's being all overly-wifey so early into your friendship.

"I will do both." You finally settle on.

"Great!" Says Lexi. "I'm just gonna do the punching, though, or I'll hurt my feetsies. Speaking of which -- I wanna finish this real quick, if that's cool."

Lexi thumbs over her shoulder to the bench she's sat on. You nod, and with a smile Lexi lays back down and unracks the barbell to continue her bench pressing. She's pretty great, always a pleasure to talk to, even if it's just brief. And you're pretty cool yourself, you think!
