Leveling UP

Focusing on your class abilities you upgrade your holy power from cleric to paladin giving you a 10% bonus to all of your attack and defense stats and from barbarian to berserker increasing your rage to a X3 bonus at the cost of reducing your defense to 1/4th.

Once again using your monster levels to improve the dungeon you feel it expanding out like a hive through the mountain your in as it's filled with deadly traps and powerful monsters. You're certain that only the most powerful of beings could make it through to you now, making future saintess assaults unlikely to come with backup.

Then you hear the familiar voice of Melanoche inside your head. "You have done well, my servant." She says, appearing in the corner of the room. "You've defeated the first saintess of light."

"It was a tough fight but I got the job done." You reply, hearing your old human voice for the first time in months. It sounds as grating and out of place now as your minotaur grunts had when you first heard them.

"Quite the impressive feat. Impressive enough to earn you this." She pull a single strand of her black hair from her head and blows on it. It floats towards you then suddenly shoots forward into your chest, burrowing with red hot pain into you. "This will allow you to imbue status effects including paralysis, poison, and mind control on anyone who's magical defense you can pierce." She explains. "Use it wisely." Then she disappears. You can feel the ability infusing with your worship and poison abilities, doubling your magical power with them and increasing their potency.
