Lets See

After closing my character sheet I decide to start Meditating. My goal this time is healing. I figured out that the only reason I'm alive is because I keep leveling up. After my fight with the rats I would've been low if not for that and later I'm sure I'll level up slower later. So for now I want to solve that problem. While Meditating I start thinking of healing, I focus on how I imaging blood and flesh fixing themselves, bones realigning and healing. After a while I look up and see I have two notifications. Surprised, I open them both.

New Skill: Healing Hands Lvl 1

Healing Hands are a basic healing spell mostly used by priests. This spell allows the caster to heal the target through touching them. Amount healed is determined by the casters (Intelligence × 0.25)% + 10% of the targets max HP. MP cost 15

New Barrier Entered: Katorg's Hunting Grounds

What the, hunting grounds? And that name where have I... OH SHIT it's Falvos buddies. I jump out if my seat and rush to some shadows wondering how long I've been in here. Suddenly I hear the libraries double doors get blasted apart.

"YOUVE BEEN HIDING LONG ENOUGH! IM GETTING BORED WAITING FOR YOU TO LEAVE SO COME ON OUT!" I hear someone start shouting. I carefully peek around the corner of the bookshelf I'm hiding behind and use Observe.

I turn back around and quickly switch to my combat gear by swapping to my new Secondary Equipment. The moment I do my clothes change to my armor and my sword appears, sheathed on my hip. I turn back to look at Ted when I hear some some static followed by a voice.

"Ted, give me a status update." I see Ted pick up a radio from his side and push down a button on it.

"Yeah, yeah. I just entered the library and this Lyna's no where to be seen."

"You entered the library! I told you to stay outside and ambush them!"

"I know, but it just got so boring. So I blasted the doors down and shouted for them to come on out!" I hear a exasperated and angry shout from the radio before they continue.

"ITS ONLY BEEN SEVEN MINUTES! Look just find them and bring them here ALIVE! I have some questions to ask." The radio goes silent and Ted puts it back on. I turn back around and get ready for a fight.

"Why don't you come on out! I'm sure you heard that just now so you know you wont die." I hear Ted say and I'm starting to consider it. Then I remember Falvo and Asami, and while she didn't out right say it, how she implied being abused by him. I unsheathe my sword and cast Beastial Strength. This adds 8 (7.8 rounded up) to my strength and agility, not great but better than nothing. I slowly start making my way to Ted, sticking to the shadows using Stealth. Once I get close enough I decide to Multicast one Thunder to quickly destroy his radio and two Flare to weaken him. The Thunder destroys his radio, dealing no damage and ruins my stealth attack bonus, and Flare hits him on his belly and shoulder.

I see him turn around, shocked. I quickly add up the damage, knowing he's at 296 HP. Another three Flares using Multicast will deal 81. Just 11 more Flares and he'll be done. That is if I want to kill him.

"Well, that's one way to say hello. But that was smart. Destroying my radio I mean. So as you heard I'm Ted and I'll be the one cutting you up." He says all this impressed and calm. He draws his sword, a classic steel blade that would look more at home with a knight. His clothes are black and he has a cloak over his back. He reminds me of a rouge from a classic RPG. "So are you gonna resist and try to fight me? Or will you obey and follow me? Please resist, its no fun bringing you back without a fight." He licks his blade and smiles sadistically.
