Let her go

You realise the gravity of your actions now that she just pushed you back. You try to muster some words of apology.

"I'm sorry, I-I don't know what happened I.."

She interrupts you "It's okay." She wipes off her lips with the back of her porcelain hand. "You're at that foolish age. I once saw my brother attempt the same with my own mother when he was around your age. I understand you have urges but please, don't do that ever again."

"Yes, sorry mom."

"Good." She leaves you with a last caress along your arm "Good luck Christopher."

You are relieved that she's not too angry about your blunder. If you had continued to restrain her despite her unwillingness there's no telling what would have happened.
