Mary woke up being held by Flora. She was lying on a blanket on the beach. The fire had surprisingly not extinguished yet but it was petering out. Mary reached back and scritched Flora’s head until she woke up, then Mary said. “Good morning Kitty.”

“Good Morning yourself, little fairy.”

“Fairy?”

“Well I’m not calling you a goddess. I feel like if I did it would go to your head. But you do have an otherworldly beauty to you. So, fairy. Plus you were super cute in that fairy outfit earlier this round.” Flora stretched and stood up. She went and doused the fire and offered Mary a hand up. “We should go meet Hilde, she's taking us to breakfast at the cottage.”

Mary took the offered hand and stood. Then she shifted into Mark. “Okay where are we meeting her?”

“Not far. Follow me.” Flora started to walk towards the edge of the beach and then a bit further down the road was Hilde and the carriage.

Mark asked. “Hilde did you sleep out here? Like in the carriage?”

“Ummm… yeah I did. I had to be available if you wanted to return to the suite. Don’t worry, the carriage is quite comfortable.”

Mark frowned, and got in the carriage. “Hilde, it still feels really weird to have you have to sleep in a carriage just because we were out here on the beach.”

“Seriously bossman, don’t worry about it. It isn’t a big deal.”

They traveled most of the way to the cottage in silence. The exception was Flora’s purring as she rubbed her face on Mark’s arm and chest.

Arriving Mark found everyone waiting for them to arrive. By everyone, it included everyone but Maja, Petra and ASTRID. Slevia, Cassandra, Freya, and a dragon woman who Mark assumed was Smug had all shown up. Cassandra and Smug were off to the side lounging on chairs while everyone else was filling their plates with food.

Mark got off the carriage and walked over with Flora and Hilde following behind him. It was at their arrival that Cassandra and Smug stood. Cassandra saying, “You’re finally here. I can now go over some things. Please have a seat and get some food while I’m talking.” The three new arrivals did just that. “I have quite a few announcements so please keep questions to a minimum. I’ll try to answer them but please keep inane comments to yourself. Now some of you recognize her and some are smart enough to figure out who this woman beside me is. For those of you who do not fall into either of these categories, this is Smug in one of her humanoid forms. Smug has decided that as this is my last season she wants to get out and stretch her legs so to speak. Take a walk around the multiverse. So she has decided she is going to be taking a vacation in your world when this season is over, acting as part of Mark’s staff. Particularly she will be in charge of security and threat assessment. Mark you will be able to find a status page for Smug under your staff entries now. Please take good care of her Mark, I raised her from an egg.” Flora raised her hand. Cassandra sighed saying, “No I did not sit on the egg until it hatched. I asked for inane comments to be kept to yourself.”

Talia pointed out, “Technically Cassandra that wouldn’t have been a comment but a question which you did say you would answer.”

Cassandra sighed and muttered, “This is what I get for picking a pedantic Master of course his women would get that way too. Now onto the next topic. After an auditing of our system due to…” Cassandra stared at Aubrey, "Irregularities. I must announce that the Adult Arcade is temporarily closed for maintenance, not that it should affect any of you unless you were planning on going there today. More on why later. During this audit we also noticed a discrepancy in some of your BP totals from what they should be. Specifically it appears that the amenities were not properly rewarding each of you. Also Talia, Laura for some reason your winnings from the casino and Ellen’s size increases weren’t added to your totals either. So please check the corrected totals now. Also Chloe I’ve included your BP gains from your submitted reports.”

Mark was frowning. “Cassandra… are you seriously telling me you are dropping this on us today, the last day of the round? Some of these things happened literally on the last challenge day. You just noticed these?”

“Mark, there are eleven of you, plus Freya and Slevia also looking over your books. Not one of you noticed. Technically you had the BP it just wasn’t displaying correctly. Which is why the systems didn’t catch it before now. Because the numbers looked right on my end. Don’t blame me when not one person complained about their ‘missing’ BP. I got the corrected numbers last night. Honestly the only one that is of importance to be right is your number Mark. So chill.”

Mark grumbled but remained otherwise quiet.

“Now on to the last matter. I won’t be going into too much detail now, but the structure of the next round is going to be a bit different. Access to the BP store will be far more limited throughout the round. Even for you Mark. I will say there will be a short period immediately after the 2nd challenge and immediately before the 3rd challenge that I can guarantee unrestricted access to the BP store. So make sure to buy anything you think you will need then.”

Mark spoke up, “Why is the store being restricted?”

“Mostly because you are all going on a trip of sorts. Flora came up with a date idea I loved so much I’m sending you all on it. Please don’t badger her about it either. She has been sworn to secrecy. Also don’t blame her for anything, it isn’t like she asked for me to swipe her idea out from under her. Any questions not about the upcoming round? As that will be discussed in detail after the challenge tomorrow.” Not seeing any Cassandra continued. “Great. I’ll leave you to things. Everyone is to meet promptly in the Dragon’s Lair Auditorium at 9 am tomorrow. Do. Not Be. Late. Coffee and food will be provided. Tata.”

After Cassandra left. Smug gave Mark a small nod and walked off as well. Everyone else continued to finish their breakfast. As the first people were finishing their food and were about to leave Mark said, “Wait a moment. Before anyone leaves I’d like to discuss some things.” Those leaving sat back down. “First so I don’t have to repeat this a bunch more times. Throughout the week I’ve been telling people I’m going to respect the wishes of who you are including any TFs you have, not who you were. I’m sticking to that. I think everyone who I’ve already talked to agrees they wouldn’t want me to stick to what you would have wanted before the show or even at the very start of the show.” Mark got nods of agreement from quite a few of them.

“Next I told Flora this last night but it should be a conversation all of you have. I know all of you have a romantic or sexual relationship with at least one other person here. Please talk to your partners about how you want to handle a situation where you are required to directly compete against one another. I don’t want to see your relationships crumble, because of a situation where you have to choose between knocking your partner out of the challenge and getting knocked out.”

“Finally, between all of you there is a lot of BP, I have some to spend as well. I’m concerned with restricted BP store access next round even for myself. That I might not be easily able to spend down something like thirty-thousand BP. So could we work on reducing that number some. I know Allie and Isabella are going to spend some. But I would like people to try to lower their totals at least some. Could each of you tell me any purchases you are planning?”

Mark looked around the table starting with Allie and Isabella. “Well, we are obviously getting Isabella her own TF paths. Which is a hefty chunk. That’s it though.”

Flora went next. “I’m saving mine, there is a big purchase that I really want. Sorry if that is a problem.”

Merida thought about it and said, “I dinnae mind goin’ and gettin’ anither upgrade or twa. I had planned on gettin’ at least one mair.”

Ellen, who was wearing her school girl uniform today, asked, “Um… Like Mister Garret… Do you like, have a… a… um… Damnit!” Ellen was nearly in tears.

“Yes Ellen. I do have a plan to resolve your speech and memory issue. I promise you it will be resolved tomorrow.”

That cheered Ellen up a bit. “Like, thanks Mister Garret. Then I don’t really have any ideas for what to buy.”

Talia said, “I know what I’d like to do…” She glanced towards Mark. “But I’m smart enough to know I shouldn’t actually make that decision. Mark, Laura if you two could help me spend my BP I would appreciate it. Otherwise I’m concerned I’m just going to buy seven random upgrades to my TFs.”

Chloe responded, “Sorry, but I’m in the same spot, as Flora. I want a big purchase.”

Aubrey just bleated, and shook her head.

Laura said “I’m saving for the outfit from Maja.”

“If you want I can help cover that cost.” Mark offered.

“Mark I appreciate the thought Mark but no. I’m not having you buy me something that I have to wear for the rest of my life. You aren’t even my boyfriend.” Yet… I think I’ll ask him on our next date.

Quite a few people snapped their heads towards Laura. It was Sam that spoke, “What do you mean ‘wear for the rest of your life’? Could you explain?”

“Oh, I guess I didn’t really let most of you know. Well I got the main path upgrade two days ago. Making my newly changed [Goddess of Desire] path my main one. Essentially all my TFs will be affected by that path now. Maja has enchanted outfits you can buy for relatively cheaply honestly. They require you to have bought a main path though. The thing is once you put the outfit on, it’s on. It can transform so it isn’t that big of a deal but you can’t wear any other clothing ever again. Look, I don't want to dwell on this. ”

“I don’t have much myself Mark. I might see about getting something but I don't have any plans to.” Sam said as he turned to her.”

“Okay well I guess that will do. Allie, Isabella, do I need to do anything for your purchase for Isabella?”

“No, we just have to go to the shop today.”

“If you are willing to wait a bit, those buying stuff can all head over together.” Allie nodded.

Sam got up and gave Mark a kiss goodbye, then gave Allie one as well. She said to Allie, “I’m going for my run. Isabella, I trust you will make sure she joins us when you are done here.” Isabella smirked and nodded.

Allie groaned. “I know I asked for this but everything hurts. Aren’t rest days a thing?”

“Yes, but rest days don’t mean inactive days. They mean easy days. Now I’ll see you two in a bit.” Sam ran off.

Chloe and Aubrey had already excused themselves. Flora was gone as well, though Mark hadn’t seen her leave. Mark saw Laura about to leave and said, “Hang on Laura would you mind staying for a second.”

“Sure. What do you need?”

“I had an idea, and wanted to talk to you about your favor.”

“I’ll wait then.”

“Okay first Ellen. If you want to spend some but not everything just upgrade Making it Big. That’s actually part of my plan, Laura. She buys that and then enhances you for a week so you can get your outfit today.”

“Maybe…” Laura said, considering it. “Ellen, is that something you even want to upgrade yourself?”

“Like it would be really good for me.” Ellen nodded.

“Well that takes care of quite a bit of Ellen’s BP and yours Laura if you buy the outfit.” Mark said. “Now Talia…”

“Mark, I already know it isn’t a good idea to buy seven random upgrades. Part of me just wants to do that and part of me wants to hoard all my BP forever. Forcing you to spend more and more every round. But I’m a good girlfriend and won’t be doing either of those things because I know you would disapprove. So what would you recommend me buying?”

“Upgrade your Perception of Time. Also there is a new option in your shop I noticed. Called Tweak Path. It is a lot cheaper than a reroll and more limited but also more controllable. I was thinking you could tweak your Physicist path since you're more than just a physicist now.”

“Okay, that seems like a good idea actually. So… that would leave me with?”

“1900 BP” Mark said.

“Perfect so I’ll get those and two random TF upgrades.” Talia said excitedly.

Mark and Laura both inhaled sharply and then sighed. Laura responded before Mark. “Dear… do you really think that’s wise? I know you like the idea of being transformed now. So does Mark but you have TFs that might upgrade in less than desirable ways.”

Talia put her hands on her hips. “Laura, can you name one upgrade anyone has gotten that is simply bad? TFs sure but an upgrade? Just one?”

“Talia, you've seen some of the upgrades Mark can purchase for us. There are plenty of bad upgrades.”

“Yet not once has Mark’s boost or an upgrade bought from the store been negative.”

Merida cut in, “I think Chloe micht disagree wi’ ye aboot that.” Talia looked at Merida and motioned for her to go on. “Well, when Flora went intae heat—”

“Let me stop you right there. What does Flora think about her upgrade? Because I can tell you right now that plenty of others might view the upgrade to your boon as a negative, Merida. But that doesn’t make it one. Flora, what do you think about this?”

Flora appeared. “How… how did you know I was here?”

“I didn’t.” Talia smirked. “But since you are here, what do you think about your upgrade to Hear Me Roar?”

“Um… I like it. I mean the random bit was a little inconvenient, but the sex was absolutely fantastic. I did feel bad about hitting Chloe with it like I did. But honestly, if not for the very specific situation of that night where I had multiple orgasms triggering back to back I think even Chloe would have been fine. Now the major issue I would have is if I couldn’t find Merida or Mark. Merida that actually should be something we should talk about. But I think Talia is right, in general I don’t dislike the upgrade. Also, I can’t think of an upgrade for a TF that the individual with the TF would say made it worse.”

Merida responded, “Well, if we’re talkin’ aboot just the person wi’ the TF then aye, I agree wi’ Talia tae.”

Talia turned back to Laura, “So, would you like to say otherwise?”

Laura thought about it for a moment. “I think Sam might have something to say about it, yeah.”

“Maybe immediately after the first TF vote but I don’t think that’s the case now.” Talia rebutted.

Allie cut in. “Laura, I’m not going to speak for what my girlfriend feels here. But I will tell you she has explicitly told me that while she wouldn’t have asked for her curves and she finds the clothing restriction and upgrade annoying, that ultimately they are likely helpful to her dealing with this show.”

Laura retorted. “Okay but you can’t honestly expect me to believe she views having to internalize Mark’s feedback as a positive.”

Mark sighed and said, “Actually Laura, I think she would. If not for that she could very well be a caricature of herself by now.” Laura gave him a disbelieving look. “I’m not simply going to share Sam’s list with everyone here, but there are things on it that she had very mistaken ideas about and had I not corrected her she would likely be very different now.”

“Mark this isn’t helping the case. That you manipulated her, by changing her thoughts about things.”

“Laura…”

“I’m sorry Mark. That was more accusatory than I intended. Please, though, give more detail.”

“She had thoughts about what I wanted. What I wanted her to be. Thoughts that were based on wildly inaccurate assumptions of what would make me happy. Some of them I might have been able to simply convince her to change her way of thinking about things others… I don’t know.”

“I appreciate you not saying anything, if you didn’t have permission, Mark.” Allie began. “But I do, so I’ll elaborate further. Laura, on Sam’s list of things to perfect is, 'being Mark’s ideal wife'. Which she said her view of what that would be was seriously fucked up. That Mark would want her to be essentially a stereotype. I’ve talked with her about her whole list and she’s mentioned what Mark has corrected her about. Mark’s right Sam would be radically different than she is now if not for that upgrade.”

Laura held up her hands, “Okay. Fine. I give.”

Talia stood up, “Great, let’s go.” Then she started towards a portal.

A moment later they all found themselves at the BP store. Most people were disoriented by the sudden shift in surroundings and posture. Mark shook his head, “Okay that felt weird as hell. Talia did you do that on purpose or did it just happen?”

“Do what?”

“Teleport us here.”

Talia blinked a few times. “OH! Right. No, that just happens. I can sometimes trigger it but I can’t decide if it triggers, there are conditions to meet. Enough of that though, time to buy upgrades.” Slevia was standing behind the counter wand in hand but grabbed a stool to sit down. Clearly still disoriented. Talia walked up to her but Slevia held up a hand for her to wait, while closing her eyes and steadying herself.

Mark walked over and asked, “Slevia are you okay?”

“Need a minute. Rather dizzy. It’s vertigo.” After waiting for a little bit Slevia opened her eyes. “I hate relocation effects. Now, your purchases.”

Mark put a hand on Talia’s shoulder stopping her from rushing Slevia. Allie and Isabella stepped up first. Allie said, “I would like to buy the upgrade I talked with Cassandra about, to give Isabella her own paths.”

Slevia nodded, tapped on the tablet in front of her a few times, and said, “Okay done. Paths determined at next vote.” Isabella didn’t look happy about that but nodded and they stepped aside.

Mark was still holding Talia’s shoulder so she waited, while Merida went up. “I’d like for you to buy two random upgrades again.”

Slevia just nodded and tapped Merida with the wand twice.

Fiery Lassie: Merida will find she is more passionate about things than before, and willing to follow her passions more assertively. When others try to actively stop her or tell her she can’t do that , she’ll get fired up and just want to do it all the more. [Merida] Upgrade: Both encouraging and discouraging comments can now fire Merida up to push harder than before. She will also find that the more fired up she is, so too will be her libido. Upgrade: Merida has found joy in new passions. Let’s help her find more. Merida will randomly become super passionate about something. This period of time could last a couple hours or it could last up to the length of an entire round. Whether it remains a passion after that is up to her.

Mark read the upgrades then narrowed his eyes and read them again. He asked, “Merida… So I had forgotten that the first upgrade here was a boost. So when I was encouraging you on our date night…”

“Can we perhaps no’ focus on whit may or may no’ hae been my ain doin’.” Merida was blushing profusely.

“I don’t know, it sort of makes your forfeit more impressive, but fine I won’t… for now. Slevia I would like to buy this path change, for Merida.”

Ellen stepped up to upgrade her Making It Big permanently

Making it Big: Ellen has a very successful acting career for many women though how well they do will depend upon the size of their assets. Ellen will be able to increase her Bust size or Hip size in exchange she will earn a small amount of BP increasing with each additional size. Increases in size will last for one full round. [Actress] [Boon] Upgraded: Every starlet needs a supporting cast. Now Ellen can help the others Make It Big too. With their consent, Ellen can increase another woman’s breast or hips size up to the number of size increases she has increased herself minus one for a round just like her own. Ellen’s breasts or hips can’t get smaller than this difference though until the other woman’s size decreases as well. Ellen will take a 20% cut of the BP gain with the rest going to the woman whose size was increased.

Talia moved up to the counter, bouncing with excitement. “My turn! Okay Slevia I would like to upgrade Perception of Time, get a Tweak Path for my [Physicist] path to preferably [Genius] or [Scientific Genius] and then upgrade two random TFs.” Talia said all that without taking a breath. Slevia seemed a little overwhelmed, and took a moment to process everything she requested.

“Okay.” Slevia nodded and then tapped Talia with the wand four times. “Done.”

Tweak Path [Physicist] -> [Scientific Genius]

Perception of Time: In relativity, the amount of time that one experiences can be different from the amount that passes based upon the reference frame. Talia will have the ability to slow down or speed up her perception of time allowing her to mentally skip things she finds boring and be able to extend time for when she needs to think or simply wants to enjoy something longer. She has a pool of stored time that is added to by skipping and reduced by extending time. [Physicist] [Boon] Upgrade: Talia can now create an area where the frame of reference is different. Practically this can either speed up or slow down the flow of time in that area. Doing this costs her stored time depending upon the size of the area. It can store time only if the area includes herself.

Confess thy Cravings: Talia is a good Catholic going to confession regularly. Now whenever she has sinful thoughts about another member of the harem, those thoughts will grow stronger and more desirable, and cause a growing desire to conform with the gothic aesthetic until she confesses them to Mark. Confessing to another contestant will delay the growth but only for a while. [GoThicc] Upgrade: Confessing her sins to another contestant will now prevent similar thoughts from plaguing her for the rest of the round. When confessing to Mark, he can give her a form of penance which will prevent the thoughts from growing permanently if completed. Alternatively he can explain how such a thought or idea can be done or indulge in without being sinful, if Talia accepts his reasoning then she will only desire the non-sinful ways.

Kiss the Girl: Talia will find that her voice is gone, of course a kiss on her lips will break this curse for 24hrs. [The Little Mermaid] Upgrade: Talia has a second set of lips. When she is kissed on her lower lips or she kisses someone else with them the curse will be lifted for twice as long. In addition Talia will desire to kiss and be kissed by others finding the act highly pleasurable.

Talia looked over her upgrades but was a little lost in a haze of arousal. “Hmmm. These… these look pretty good.”

Mark spoke up, “Um, doesn't the change to Confess Thy Cravings come rather close to changing your beliefs?”

Talia shook her head. “Not really. At least I don’t think so. I talked with Allie and Isabella a bit throughout the round about this. Because I did think you actively wanted me to change my beliefs after our date. But that isn’t the case at all is it?”

“No, I wasn’t trying to push you to change your beliefs, just think critically about them.”

“Right, so I won’t simply abandon them because I understand you don’t want me to do that for you. Even if it seems like it sometimes. This says that you have to provide an explanation and that I have to agree with you about such an explanation. Which honestly sounds to me like just persuasion with a convincing argument. Honestly this should cut down on confession time considerably. Considering it appears that it is retroactively applying my confessions this round. I have three things to confess right now. Down from the three-hundred-eighty-seven before the upgrade. Mark I know you were likely planning on doing something to that TF but could you leave it at least for a round. This might actually help me get a handle on our shared TF fetish. I know there are ways to indulge that aren’t sinful but I can’t help but think about all the ways that are sinful. This would help with that.”

Laura looked just as pensive as Mark did. Laura was the one to speak first. “Talia you do realize this is likely going to result in you leaving the church at least, right?”

Talia shrugged, “Yeah, but let’s be honest that was going to happen. I’m dating another deity and the church very much doesn’t allow polygamy. Not to mention there are real institutional problems with the Catholic church. I have my faith and that’s good enough for me.”

Laura sighed. “If you're sure…”

“I’m not. This is going to be tough, the church is a big part of my life and my family’s lives. I believe the Lord will understand, though. Now Ellen could you plump up my girlfriend please!” Talia said with a beaming lustful grin.

Laura held up her hand, “Hold on a second I didn’t say I was buying my outfit.” Mark and Talia looked at her with disbelieving looks. “I don’t even know what it does yet. Let’s at least go check it out first.” Talia deflated but Mark nodded.

Allie, Isabella, and Merida said their goodbyes, then as Mark, Ellen, Talia, and Laura stepped out of the shop they stepped into the rotunda of Maja’s store. Once again experiencing disorientation save for Talia. Maja turned her head around a little surprised then noticed Talia and a look of realization came over her face. “You know. That is a rather peculiar transformation. Considering you bypassed Maja’s detection wards. Such shoddy workmanship.” Maja tutted. Lightning flashed on the ceiling of the rotunda and thunder echoed throughout the room. “Yes, yes. Calm your dick.” Maja muttered, “Blowhard.” More thunder and lightning. “Anyway, what are the four of you here for? Maja supposes Maja could help Talia a bit. But her TF is pushing her well down the path of her own style. Not perfect but she isn’t incompetent either. Maja has already told you Ellen. Maja simply can’t help you all that much. Laura… OH! Maja sees! You selected a main path. Maja believes, you wish to buy your outfit, no?”

Ellen actually spoke before Laura. “Like Madam Maja… could you help Lucia with clothes?”

“Lucia…” Maja’s eyes glowed blue like Cassandra’s did on occasion. “Ah. Interesting… very interesting. Perhaps. Maja would need you to come back. After the challenge. Maja is rather busy at the moment. Now Laura.”

“I would like to look at the outfit before deciding if I want it or not.”

“OF COURSE! Right this way!” Maja was excited and led them down Laura’s hallway. At the end was now just one radiant golden statue of Laura, wings out stretched. It reminded Mark of every Greek goddess at once but particularly of Nike, due to the wings. “BEHOLD MAJA’S MASTERPIECE!” Maja said with a flourish.

Raiment of the Goddess of Desire

Enchantments: Self Cleaning, Shape Changing, Curse(Sole Clothing), Curse(Unremovable), Mana Battery, Charming Gaze, Blessing to the Faithful

Mana Battery: Can be charged up to three times with each charge being equal to your maximum Mana. Can only add one charge per day. Consume a charge to refill your mana to full.

Charming Gaze: Lock eyes with another to charm them duration and effectiveness varies based upon individual and amount of mana used.

Blessing to the Faithful: Grant a blessing to anyone who has worshiped at your altar or given you an offering. Quality of blessing depends upon the amount of mana consumed and the quality of worship or offering. May consume charges from Mana Battery to grant a blessing above your normal maximum mana pool.

Laura frowned reading the second effect. “Maja, you said you could alter things?”

“If they are not to your liking, Maja can make some adjustments. Maja can't just do whatever you want though.”

“First, I don’t like the second effect at all. I want it replaced. I know I’m supposed to be a goddess of desire, but I don’t want anything that compels people to do things. Nothing that messes with their mind or emotions.”

Maja considered this. “Doable. What is second?”

“What does it mean to worship at my altar or give an offering?”

She then turned to the others and found Mark’s jaw hanging open, and Talia was literally drooling, rather a lot too. “Umm… you two okay?” Mark came to his senses and stopped gawking and Talia closed her mouth and wiped away the drool, with the liquid seemingly vanishing into thin air.

Mark answered first, “Yeah just… you’re absolutely stunning in that outfit.”

Laura glanced to the side slightly and ran her fingers through her short hair. “Thanks… I appreciate it.”

Talia said, “Mark I believe you have a date to get to right? Right!? Laura, why don’t we leave Mark to get to his other duties while you and I explore that outfit more in your room.” Talia grabbed Laura’s hand and started to lead her away.

Laura smiled at that and said over her shoulder, “Bye Mark, glad you like the outfit.” Then she vanished with Talia.

Maja let go of Mark’s arm and he said, “Well Maja, I’ll be leaving. Let me know if you ever need anything.”

Mark began walking down the hall hearing Maja shout after him with a laugh, “Maja needs you to let Maja fix your clothes.” He chuckled and left the building.
