Chapter 7 by DemoonMunkay DemoonMunkay

What’s to change next…

Let’s Move

After finishing off her non-descrip coffee with delicious creamy breastmilk Hiromi’s now B cups felt a little confined. Perhaps a quick stroll around downtown for a bit of shopping… except she had no money for such a… oh right the book. Somehow she kept forgetting she had a reality re-writer… to be fair she didn’t even know one existed before today. That, of course, was how the book worked after all. Perceptions instantly changed with a few flourishes of the pen… pencil in this case but point is, the book was in her possession now. Speaking of…

New Rule: Hiromi Bayashi has just been selected by her government to participate in a country wide social experiment where 100 lucky people will receive a Lifetime Expenditure Card. Her purchases will be tracked and analyzed for behavioral patterns while given an unlimited amount of money. She will be the Control group for the Full-Blood Asian community. She will then be allowed any purchase , within reason, to determine how best for her government to provide for her community.

There. That ought to take care of money, and she could move out of her parents house and live for herself. Hiromi now felt her hands shaking with so much excitement. As long as she could hang onto this book her life… her world would be her paradise. Starting with a few choice purchases.

Now some might wonder why she didn’t just give herself a free ride by saying something like, everything is free for her or something. It was mostly due to being a business minor. She knew that removing monetary value, stealing or otherwise obtaining material goods for free was bad for the economy. However if someone pays for it, obviously not her, then the thing known as “shrink” where the price of other material goods go up so that a company can get back the difference of the item(s) that were taken does not happen. If everything is paid for, then Inflation will not be her fault… ironic that she was, infact, an inflation fetishist… just not the money kind.

Hiromi arrived home and brought the mail in with her as was her house’s custom. Upon opening her own mail she pretended to be surprised and called the IRS’s official number to ensure this was no mistake. Her Parents immediately began listing all the things she should buy to make their lives easier. Hiromi just shook her head and pulled the book out.

New Rule: Hiromi Bayashi, when confronting people about harsh truths, will command their immediate silence and undivided attention. She will not be interrupted or resisted.

Hiromi closed the book and put it back in her book bag as her parents were still smiling and laughing at their unbelievable luck. “Excuse me? I have lived under your roof and abided by your ridiculous rules long enough. You have been holding me back from pursuing my own desires and dreams so that I would have to be a lawyer so that you could live easy on *my money* when I grow up. Well no, with this (she holds the card up) I am moving out and you two will have to live on your own retirement money like everyone else has to. When you feel ready to apologize for trying to turn your own daughter into a money fountain at the expense of her own happiness I might be willing to forgive you. (Hiromi then stormed to her room and began packing a few choise sets of clothes and grabbed her laptop) I will be moving out immediately, I will send for the rest of my affects in the morning. If any of it is damaged or missing I will hold you responsible for it’s replacement. Good day!” A slam of the door followed her as she quickly called a real estate agent about an immediate move in.

What kind of place does she get?
