Chapter 4 by ToTheVictor1992 ToTheVictor1992

OK, it works! So who's going to end up naked in public?

Let's take care of the money situation, first

I didn't want to use the notebook to steal money, or just conjure it from nothing... suddenly I had an idea. As a regional manager, I do a lot of traveling. Time to make it pay:

New Rule: Wherever the Notebook's owner, David, goes, any money or valuable items that have been hidden or buried and forgotten about will be transported to his home's basement, as long as it can fit in the basement without causing damage to the home.

I closed the notebook, went outside, got into my new Tesla, and drove home, taking a long, leisurely route through neighborhoods, parks and over the lake.

When I got home, I dashed to the basement and turned on the light. It was an unfinished basement with a concrete floor; in the middle of the floor was a pile of objects.

The pile was nearly ten feet across, and waist-high. As I got closer, I could see several Mason jars full of coins, some full of currency. There were four or five suitcases, dozens of cigar boxes, and many wooden cases that looked custom made to fit items like swords or guns. There were also canvas sacks, cardboard boxes, and dozens of other containers.

Some were covered with dust, so they had been hidden indoors; other were covered with dry dirt, so they had been buried, and some were covered with mud, so the trip over the lake had paid off, too.

What's next?
