Let's follow strangers

"I don't know if she's the one you're looking for, but I saw someone resembling that earlier." the man says. "Would you like me to take you to her?"

"That would be wonderful. Please do."

"My pleasure. This way, please." The man starts walking ahead of me, and I follow along.

I continue to follow him into an alley.

There is no one else around, and the street here is covered in filth.

What would he be doing here?

"Excuse me, but where is she?" I ask.

"Just a little further, so if you would."

"Thank you. You're so kind."

"Oh, it's no problem."

We continue to walk even further. I can't even hear the street noise now.

The man turns to face me. "This is it. This is where I saw her."

"There's no one here." I say.

"Come on out, fellows! I've brought us an actual homunculus!"

"She's a fine specimen!" another voice says.

Apparently, they think I'm a girl.

"Dr. Pretorius'll pay us a lot, that's for sure." a third voice says.

Two men appear from the shadows behind him. One of them has a head that looks like a lion, except he has goat horns. He had a tail with a snake's head on the end. A Chimera. Weren't those dog girls called Chimeras? They must be friends of the kind man.

"Pay a lot? What are you talking about?" I ask.

"We're talking about you!" The man reaches out to me.

With fear and memory blushing through me, I back away. "Don't touch me!"

"Hahaha! Oh, this is nice. Very, very nice." The men draw closer, and I try to back up.

Soon, my back hits the wall. I don't know what these men intend to do, but it's surely something I won't welcome.

There is nowhere to run.

I start to panic, and look around.

"There's no use shouting. Nobody around here is going to help you." The man reaches out again, and I flinch. He grabs my shirt and tries to rip it open.

"No! Don't touch me!"

One of the men grabs me. "Hah. Your skin is so smooth?"

"Maybe we should have our way with her first. Dr. Pretorius doesn't need her to be a virgin." the Chimera says.

In panic, I tear his arm off.

"Your arm! Look!" the man who lured me here says.

Blood is spilling from the man who grabbed me. He starts to scream and roll on the ground. "Ahhhhgh! She ripped my arm off! Witch! Monster!"

"I told you not to touch." I say.

The man who lured me pulls out a knife and slowly approaches me. The Chimera follows behind him.

There's no escape.

"Die!" The man raises his knife high.

I punch him and he goes flying.

He lands on the ground.

I think he's knocked out.

The Chimera approaches me.

"Stay back!" I say.

The Chimera pins me down. He rips my shirt open. "I was hoping your breasts would be bigger. No matter." He pulls down my trousers and sees my penis. "You're a man?" He shrugs. "I have a lion for a head and snake sticking out my ass. I'll take what I can get."

I try to push the Chimera off me but he's stronger than those dogs.

Nevertheless, I manage to kick him off me.

He still has me cornered.

"Close your eyes and cover your ears!" I hear a voice shout, and something lands on the ground between myself and the Chimera. There is a burst of intense light and sound when the object hits the ground. I had quickly covered my eyes and ears as instructed, but the intensity still makes me dizzy for a moment. I lose my balance and fall over, but I oddly fail to hit the ground. "You're all right now. Open your eyes, slowly." I open my eyes. Someone is holding me. "It's me. You're safe."

I see that my saviour is Victoria Frankenstein. "Thank you for saving me. What happened to those men?"

"Two've them are knocked out."

"The one I took the arm from? Is he dead?"

"Yes. The other man still seems to be breathing. I rendered the Chimera ****. When the senses receive **** stimulation, the mind shuts off for a while in reaction."

"I killed again." I say sadly.

"Haha, you're very compassionate to worry about men who were attacking you!" She gently releases me. "It's not safe here. Besides you must always be suspicious of strangers. Especially in places like this."

"I see."

"I'll escort you back to the Main Street. We don't want anything to happen to you." She starts walking back up the alley, and I follow along, fixing my clothing.
