Let's Hunt!

Everyone agrees they should get moving, on the walk towards the woods Yuki mentions to Alyssa that a butcher back in town will buy meat from players pretty regularly, and has been a good source of quick cash for them recently. She thanks Yuki for the info, and pats her head, causing Yuki to blush.

A few minutes later Alyssa notices several other players talking, comparing hunts, or simply walking back toward the city past them as they approach the woods.

Clark: Stopping the group just outside the woods. "So this area of forest is pretty low level, a lot of medical herb gathering quests happen here, and generally weak monsters and animals live in relative peace, though for now though we will be focusing on just rabbits and deer to hone your aim"

Alyssa: Nodding along, while watching other groups of players nearby. "I see... there are so many people here though, won't it be hard to find prey?" she asks, looking at two guys counting a massive pile of rabbits.

Mai: "Normally yes, but with us here, you can enter deeper into the woods, where the monsters start to appear, there are still plenty of small animals, but most players here for quests avoid it due to the monsters."

The group enters the woods, and slowly the noise of other players fades, replaced by the general sounds of nature, bird song, rustling branches, the call of various wild beasts, sunlight streaming beautifully through the leaves above, captivating Alyssa with the sight. A few minutes later the group enters a small clearing, with a tiny creek running through it, where Clark notices some tracks and bends down to examine them.

Clark: still examining the tracks, "Ok Alyssa, a seems a few deer came through here recently, maybe within the past half an hour, so get ready and keep an eye out, and everyone? try to stay quiet." he half whispers at the group, while drawing his bow, motioning Alyssa to do the same.
