Lesson One: Lightning

Holding your two hands in front of you the crowd watched seated on the stone floor as blue sparks of bright lightning began to arc between your two hands.

“The nature of lightning is one of chaos incarnate much like fire it is wild and guided can be deadly to any wizard or witch. “ You said as you expanded the distance between your hands. The lightning soon began to arc faster and faster before you stopped the flow altogether.

“The key to lightning is transforming the mana in your body into raw energy and in its purest form you get electricity.” you said as you took two of your fingers and released small bolt of lightning striking a training dummy behind you.

“However this is power is guided not controlled lightning is erratic and your body acts as a conduit the minute you try controlling and forcing the lightning you run the risk of vaporizing yourself by turning all of your mana into electricity at once.”

“So a simple exercise I learned to control lightning was to arc it between my hands like you saw before try that for now and I’ll go help the earth students.” You said to the Lightning group.
