Legoshi, from Beastars (Warning! Contains anime spoilers!)

Anime were a source of furry material. Sure, not all of them, but some animes could give the fandom some really good characters to add to their ranks. In particular, those who focused on the non-human characters. One good example of this, was an anime called Beastars. One that started out as a manga, and that depicted a world populated by anthropomorphic animals of all kinds.

Of course, the world was far more than just a furry bait, as they say that it tackled some interesting subjects, such as prejudice and bigotry, as well as how one could live in a world fill with them. However, most of the focus went to the anthropomorphic characters, at least in the furry fandom.

The main character of this story was Legoshi, a male anthropomorphic gray wolf who fell in love with a small female white rabbit, and tried his best to live in this world, while learning to accept himself and to fight against his instincts and the pressure of society so he would be able to be with her.

Yes, Josh knew Legoshi, he had both read the manga and watched the anime, and he immediately recognized the face of the wolf among the characters in the selection menu. He looked just like his anime self, making him recognizable. Even if he was not, the name Legoshi was write in there for anyone to read, and Josh was sure that there was only one “Legoshi” that was famous in the furry fandom.

“Well, I’ll go for Legoshi.” Josh said, looking at the photo, which was immediately select. Soon, the entire selection menu vanished and Fursona was standing before Josh once again. Soon, the figure infront of him started to change, by losing muscle mass, although he remained fit. His body changed to be a bit more human (as were most of the animals in Beastars), and his features became more wolf-like. Soon, the color and texture was added, as well as clothing. Now, before him, stood a little over 6’1’’ feet tall, with bluish-grey fur on most of his body, with the fur on his face and neck were of a cream coloration, as well as of his chest and stomach, as Josh could remember from the anime. He was wearing a red shirt and a pair of jeans pants, and a pair of sneakers on his feet.

“Well, I guess it is you and me then, right?” Legoshi asked him, sounding a bit awkward, much like the Legoshi on the series. Suddenly, Josh remembered that Legoshi was a teenager, as he was still in highschool. However, Legoshi soon was speaking:

“Oh, and don’t worry about my age.” The wolf said to him, “Due to the regulations, the Legoshi that you are playing with is legally an adult. I am on my 18/19 years old.”

Well, that was a relief. However, Josh should expect this already, since he knew well of the house’s regulations about minor characters.

“So, this means you have already dropped out of Cherryton?” Josh asked, and the wolf shrugged.

“Yeah, kind of. Due to the story chronology and to the regulations, the default is that I am the Legoshi who has already turned eighteen during the “Melon Arc” of the manga, and the third season of the anime.” Legoshi explained, “So, basically you are roleplaying with a Legoshi who already dropped out of Cherryton, works as a waiter and deliverer, and lives on the Hidden Condo. But, we can also play with different variations, for example, I can be a eighteen-year old Legoshi who never dropped out of Cherryton, and still studies in there, in a divergence of the canon.”

Josh nodded. “Yeah, I’ll remember that.”

Josh looked back at him for a few seconds, before he rubbed the back of his neck.

“So... okay.” He said, looking at the human. “So, I guess this is the part where I ask you if you want to do some programmed scenario or to play a free experience. So, what do you prefer?”

That Legoshi really seemed a bit awkward, much like the real one. Josh found it quite of endearing. This Legoshi certainly sounded like a virgin, and Josh realized that he was going to be the one to take Legoshi’s virginity. This made him more excited to go on and fulfill the dream of a lot of guys in the Beastars’ Fandom.
