Left Path

Guessing what you can from this land the sounds of fighting in an abandoned path is probably a trap. You continue to the keep hoping to reach it before dark. The path changes from a dirt ground to a cobbled road the closer to the keep you get. The area before the keep is barren with a few dead trees scattered about it. The keep itself is impressive. Massive, with many structures kept safely behind the black wall that appears to be warped with faces of people, no...you're eyes must be deceiving you. This whole place gives the feeling of crushing pressure weighing on you. Before you know it you are in front of a large gate which could accommodate a dragon to go through it, it is that big. A man steps outside of the gate by a door embedded in it, he causes you to recoil back defensively. A giant of man with bulging muscles, red skin and horns piercing through his forehead. Your head at his chest level, with him carrying a warhammer and wearing black chitinous armour definitely intimidates you. He stares at you, seeming to be evaluating what you actually are.

“What are you doing here human knight? This is not a place for you.” he booms at you with his deep voice.

“I need to speak to the Lord of this keep, it is important,” you reply with some aggression in your voice to seem more threatening given the size difference between him and you.

“I can't get you audience with him, but I can let you in. I will need to confiscate your weapons and armour for you to gain entrance. As some friendly advice many people in here may try to take advantage of your situation, be careful.” He tells you while placing his warhammer on his back.

Give up your equipment? You don't know if that is a good idea. Most demons are bigger and stronger than you, your weapon and armour levels that disadvantage a bit. But your friends could have been captured here or the Lord may be the key to finding them, losing your weapons is worth that right? A dark thought passes your mind, you could seduce the guard to convince him about keeping your equipment. How far could you go through with that, it could just be this place that has given you that thought.
