Chapter 5 by Mr Nice Guy Mr Nice Guy

Leave the bronx?

“What do you mean, ‘We’re locked out?!’” Dave’s voice cracked. He was standing over a technician named Terri with an I. She was very specific about that. There was another Terry (with a Y) in the building. Dave wondered if they didn’t get along, and that was why she specified.

“It’s not my fault!” Terri said, getting upset at the blonde bombshell having over her shoulders, boobs just inches from her face, “it’s Billy’s login. All of the terminals are the same! They’re all asking for Billy’s login.”

“Billy the intern?” Dave heard Jim ask from across the room. He had his head in a filing cabinet, trying to find a printout of the new code. Usually those things don’t get printed, but there were a couple people on the team who liked to debug using paper and pen. It was unlikely, but Jim was getting ****.

“Yes the intern,” Terri responded, pushing up her thick glasses and focussing on the screen in front of her, “The intern who decided to take a sick day today!”

“What about the terminal on The Printer?” Dave asked, standing up straight, causing his breasts to bounce in an unfamiliar way.

“Already tried it,” Terri said, pushing herself back from the locked terminal, “something triggered when The Printer was used and it set all the terminals to this secure mode. We are locked out.”

Just then, the fluorescents in the lab dimmed, a red light began pulsing, and a loud siren began to sound.

“Attention all staff!” A stern female voice came over the speakers in the ceiling, “we have a containment breach in section two. Please evacuate the building immediately!”

The siren sounded again, followed by the announcement.

“We have to get out of here,” Jim said, shouting over the noise,” section two is just down the hall from us.”

“I can’t go out like this!” Dave yelled, “I won’t be seen in this body! I’ll be the laughing stock of the scientific community!”

“Dave,” Jim said as everyone made their way out to the hallway to evacuate, “we don’t have time for this. Come on!”

“No,” Dave said, “consequences be damned. I’m staying.” Dave sat down in the chair that Terri had occupied.

“Dave,” Jim‘a voice was anxious, “don’t make me do this”

“Just go already!”
