{if@ ShotDelilah == False}You're probably better off having a rest. She'd probably just find a way to spin it against you if you tried to kill the monster she was going against. And you're really tired besides -- it might be so that you're a super-strong Warrior student, able to even outclass a whatever those things were simulations of, but that doesn't mean you can't have naps and rests. That would be a complete deal breaker.{else}You're feeling pretty bad about almost messing that up for her. And you're also tired from your own fight. You've earned a bit of a break, and Delilah's probably earned having you have a bit of a break too.{endif}

With a contented sigh, you walk just enough steps to be off the gravel path, and let yourself fall back onto the soft grass. Phew..... this was definitely hard work, but it's really good to know that you're actually up for it. You've wanted to be a Warrior for so long, and worked so hard on it, that it's nice to know that you really do belong here. At least, probably.

You hear the light chinking of Cameron's metal armour plates sliding against each other as he walks beside you, sighing as well and plopping down into a sitting position nearby you. You sit up and watch as Delilah dodges a scythe swing by jumping up and kicking off the bridge's bannister.

"Too bad Lexi's not here today." He says. "She'd have liked this."

"Yeah." You reply. "Miranda too."

".......Mm."

There's a loud roar from Delilah as she hops up onto the bannister again, and runs across to the other side of land. The monster, fast as it is, is confused by the sudden disengagement and so doesn't make chase right away. Jace walks over from the right side to join you and Cameron.

"I was thinking about trying to shoot it, but I thought Dellie might-"

KKRA-CKOOOM!

Just as the monster's about to sprint after Delilah, there's a sudden flash of fiery orange light on the bridge which engulfs the monster whole and blocks out the entire bridge from your view. All three heads snap over to the bridge, too shocked to say anything and waiting for the smoke to clear. When it does at last, you see Delilah hopping daintily on her toes on the other side of the stream, sickles held backwards and ready to fight -- the bridge is all but gone, and between the charred wooden rubble in the stream, you can just barely make out the blackened body of the simulated monster lying motionless.

"--Yeah. I-" Jace pauses, then sits down in the grass next to you and Cameron. "Yeah."

"Alright, everybody, come in!" Professor Phoebe calls out, dropping from the hut's thatched roof. "It's evaluation time."

Without another word needed the three of you all hop to your feet and move over to join Professor Phoebe. Well, for you, it's more like slowly groaning and complaining to your feet. But you get there. Delilah's leather boots are a bit wet from crossing the stream, but she seems mostly unharmed, and very proud of herself.
