Leave alone

I decided it would be best to just leave. I would be in town for another month or so. I'm sure I won't be seeing the last of Libby "Foey. I was looking forward to a little quality time. Oh well, I guess that can wait until our second date." I started walking away but turned back to the bound beauty for one last look. "Thanks for the info Libby, I'll see you later." I blew her a kiss and then made my exit.

I had to admit, I felt kind of bad about leaving her there but I knew she'd be fine. I figured as soon as she was out of reach of the Jade Diamond that she would get her powers back and just snap the ropes holding her. She'd probably come after me. I stopped as that thought occured me. I found a nice secluded spot on top of a high building and waited. I guess I'd get my time with Liberty Girl after all. I waited for an hour or so and she never came. I groaned. I guess she gave up. Oh well, I'll see her again, I know it.

I made it back to my penthouse suite and began peeling off my costume. As I did my thoughts drifted back to Liberty Girl. And more importantly, he weakness and the things I could do with it. However, It dawned on me that I was supposed to turn over the Jade Diamond to King. He probably had more sinister purposes for it than I did. While I was thief, I made it a point not to hurt anyone. I wasn't terriably keen on turning over the means to render Liberty Girl helpless over to a mad crimenal. However, I had a reputation to up hold. Plus King was dangerous.
