“Damnit you’re right. She’s completely lost look at her.” You gesture to Kayo who plunges two curling fingers into her hungry depths, desperate for affection from anyone at this point.

“I believe she’ll bounce back if we take her away from this wretched place. Just that’s an operation for another day. Bigger fish as they say.” Syvella moves for the door. You follow her but shoot one last glance back at Kayo. There’s hardly a thought behind those eyes aside from the desire for temporary release.
