Azure

Azure's screams echoed through her office and into the outer hallway, each "No!" reverberating with a furious desperation that matched the rapid clicks of her keyboard. She frantically opened yet another window, determined to unveil a trace of Lauren. But as she had nearly exhausted all 76,621 surveillance points, including those concealed behind numbered doors, Azure was not hopeful.

Usually, she could effortlessly teleport or puppet her contestants to her. But Azure's powers had an Achilles' heel – her magic had to be cast to a location. Without knowing where Lauren was, her spells would simply fire blind. It was for that reason Azure so mutinously monitored her set, but her brief time away had made her lose sight of one of her prisoners.

"Damn it!" Azure shouted in frustration, having exhausted all potential hiding spots, even the secretive catacombs beneath the fortress. There was no way to deny it – Lauren had eluded her castle. The only other conceivable location for the escapee was...

...

"FUCKING DAMN ITTTTT!!"

Azure's office door exploded outward, shattering into hundreds of projectiles. Azure stormed out, her rage palpable with every earth-shaking step. Outside, the tranquil afternoon transformed into a catastrophic lightning storm.

"YOU FUCKING BRAT!" she bellowed in a voice that transcended human tones, a monstrous amalgamation of a thousand demons screaming in unison.

"I'LL FIND YOU! YOU WON'T ESCAPE MY WRATH!!!!!"

"You'll draw the contestant's attention, mistress," Alison pointed out, following bored behind. However, Azure was too enraged to hear or care.

The host's hand went to her throat, summoning a necklace adorned with runic symbols. As the gems began to radiate, fire erupted and swirled around her like a tornado of flames.

"RISE MY MINIONS!" she roared, the fire concentrating into her fist.

With a furious motion, she thrust her fist forward, unleashing a colossal wave of hellfire that consumed the stone corridor, annihilating the opposite door and igniting an entire room. Marching through the molten entryway, she entered the burning portion of the castle, a cathedral.

The mystic fire, once blazing ferociously, now fizzled out, leaving behind clouds of dark smoke. The ethereal haze condensed into dozens of amorphous blobs, rapidly taking on human-like forms.

Azure was not patient enough to give her creations her preferred aesthetic of attractive females. Instead, the beings of darkness came forth in their default form. Billowing black cloaks, swords, and armor emerged from the shadows, converging into an army of phantoms standing at attention, awaiting their master's commands.

"All of you! Search every inch of the forest! Bring her right to me, even if you have to drag her by the FUCKING HAIR!" Azure's command thundered through the cathedral.

The wraiths, obedient to their mistress's wrath, dispersed in perfect unity, gliding soundlessly out of the room.

Alison, watching them go with her usual indifference, asked, "Mistress, are you aware that wraiths are among the weakest..."

"OF COURSE I DO!" Azure snapped, her fury unabated by Alison's cautious reminder.

"And you're not worried that your forest creations will rip them apart?" Alison pressed, unintimidated.

"DO YOU THINK I GIVE A FUCK?! GO BE FUCKING USEFUL AND HELP THEM FIND HER!"

Lauren Peterson

Lauren's centaur hooves pounded against the forest floor, a relentless rhythm echoing her rapid heartbeat. Panic had taken hold of her, tightening its grip with each labored breath. She was no longer searching for the exit. Her brain was no longer capable of such complex thoughts. All she had was the animalistic instinct to survive. If she did have a destination, it was back to the safety of the castle, but every turn seemed to make her more hopelessly lost.

The past four hours had felt like a million years. Every time the girl slowed down, another nightmare caught up with her. Some she had escaped unscathed, including a trio of water nymphs, a goblin, and a disgusting tentacle monster.

Others, she had not been so lucky. Witches and demons had ridden, taunted, and tormented her, delighting in her suffering before she could finally get away. Others had hit her with hexes, some having almost no effect, others transforming her even more into a chimera of bizarre changes.

She had three sets of ears, one elven and the other two from a cow, making everything sound loud and disorienting. The look of a bovine had seemingly been popular among those curses that had impacted her, as her demon horns had shrunk to look like they belonged to cattle, her lower body growing leathery and white, and a never ending trickle of milk constantly lactated from her colossal breasts. A cow tag stapled onto one of her new ears, engraved with the words "MILK MACHINE," only furthered the humiliation.

But that wasn't all. She had also sprouted devil wings far too small to lift her now 1800-pound frame. Her tail, which now moved independently from her, had become forked at the end like a succubus. Even her hair had gone completely white.

"Why, why, why?! Why is this happening to me?!" she sobbed.

Unfortunately for her, she still had no idea how much worse things could get.

Amid her **** flight, the air around her thickened, and hundreds of ominous presences materialized above her. Looking up in terror, she saw the sky darken from a swarm of ravens silently gathering above, their black wings casting fleeting shadows on the swarthy landscape.

Then, with an unsettling grace, a figure emerged from the cloud of birds. Black feathered wings extended from its form, casting an ominous silhouette. Its skin was a pallid grey, clad in leather that seemed to absorb what little light remained. But most striking was its face, which exactly resembled Kaitlyn.

"No! Oh god, no!" Lauren wailed frantically to herself, trying to deny the sight before her.

"Calm down!" the winged figure said in Kaitlyn's voice. "It's me sis. I'm here to rescue you."

"You're Just an illusion! You're not really here," Lauren screamed, galloping away to escape the presence.

But the winged figure had other plans. She spread its black feathered wings, still enveloped by the swirling mass of ravens, and began to pursue Lauren, each beat of its wings sending shivers up the centaurs spine.

"That's not true," the being resembling Kaitlyn called out. "I'm here, sis! I'm here. I'm here. I'm here. I'm here-"

She repeated those words like a broken record as she closed in on Lauren, the voice mixing with the sound of hooves and demonic wings. Then, flying to her left mere inches away, the entity appended to her mantra. "I'm here... because of you!"

"You're fake, just like John," Lauren whimpered, trying with all her might not to listen. "You're a trap!"

'Kaitlyn' was not deterred, as she continued. "It's your fault I was roped into this. If you had just shown Levi, just shown anyone, a bit of kindness, I wouldn't be trapped in this nightmare!"

"Stop talking!" Lauren hollered. "You're not her!"

The entity flew faster, moving in front and turning to face her victim. In time with Lauren, she silently glided backward to look at her directly.

"This is all your fault," the being resembling Kaitlyn wailed. "How could you do this to me, sis? I hate you!"

"She would never say that to me!" Lauren mewled weakly. "She loves me! She'd never..."

The entity burst out laughing. "She would never say that to you?" the being repeated. "Are you serious? After everything you've told her? In the past twenty-four hours alone?"

The being took to the sky, for the briefest of moments, becoming enveloped by ravens again. But when she emerged, it was with the face of Laurens. She looked down on her prey with the same sinister smirk that the campus queen usually when lording over her victims.

"I'm always the one who has to solve our problems. I was hoping you would step up for me this time, but you're useless like usual!" the doppelganger quoted back to Lauren in her own voice.

"I didn't mean-" Lauren tried to defend weakly, but the entity wasn't interested in hearing her excuses.

"I mean, do you think we'd ever be hanging out at school if we weren't related? I've had to do a lot of damage control to keep you within my social hierarchy."

"That was..."

"JUST GO AND DIE ALREADY!"

Lauren's legs wobbled weakly from the final sound of her own words. Unfortunately, at the speed she was galloping, this was enough for her to lose her footing, falling to her four knees.

The entity chuckled. "I mean, really, how stupid are you? She was the only ally you had, hell, the only one who didn't HATE you, and you threw her away. Maybe if you weren't such a cunt to her, she'd actually be here to help."

"Please, I'm sorry! I've learned my lesson! Just send me back to Azure! I'll do her show. I'll apologize to everyone!" Lauren begged, looking up at her own taunting face.

The chuckle of the demon morphed into a shrill and cruel laugh, echoing through the eerie surroundings. The crows circling them cawed mockingly in unison.

"Send you to Azure? And let her have all the fun? Do you know how long it's been since she sent us a new plaything? Oh no, you belong to us now," the nightmare declared, its voice dripping with sadistic glee.

With supernatural speed, it rushed in front of Lauren, cold hands clasping her face. The entity leaned in, its lips brushing against her ear as it whispered with a sinister intimacy, "And I think you'll find we are a lot less careful about breaking our toys."

Before Lauren could muster a response, the demon grabbed her head and pulled her into a passionate kiss. A blinding heat radiated from the point of contact as dark magic seared into the girl's lips.

Lauren convulsed as the curse took hold. The demon stepped back, a wicked glint in her eyes as she watched the girl thrashing about.

All of her muscles felt like boiling wax. Her muscles rapidly expanded, only to shrink back once more, while her joints kept popping into new directions before loudly settling back. It was as if her body couldn't decide what it wanted to be. It didn't hurt, but that only made it even more bizarre as she saw her body twist into abnormal orientations.

"What are you doing to me?" Lauren's scream pierced the air, a **** plea for answers.

"I saw the curses my frail siblings inflicted upon you," the monster explained as if it were a causal discussion over tea. "After the way you idiotically trampled into their domains, how could they resist?"

Laurens's horse body bulged, and muscles exploded out, gaining hundreds of pounds of muscle in mere moments.

The monster's feet left the ground as she hovered above Lauren, flying without using her wings. "That body of yours is a petri dish of over a dozen different, incompatible hexes. All struggle for dominance, but most are too overshadowed to manifest."

Lauren's lower body moved on its own, getting to its four hooves as it continued to gain mass. Her once-white coat was shifting rapidly, growing redder by the moment. The rest of her skin changed to a red hue as well, save for her gargantuan breasts, which remained as creamy white as ever. More enormous horns burst out of her skull while her hair produced excess white hair. Claws burst from her fingertips, and reptilian scales developed like scabs along her arms.

The demon's eyes widened with manic glee as she cackled, reverberating through the haunted forest. "So, I'm giving those weak curses a little boost to gain dominance. ALL OF THEM!"

Laurens's mutation was complete pandemonium. The contradictory curses cascaded upon one another, rapidly growing more unstable. Her horns extended, only to then sink back into her skull. Unearthly growth rippled through her form, limbs contorting from the insanity of the flesh. Lauren's screams intertwined with the demonic laughter as additional arms sprouted from her torso. Each limb, once human, was now twisted into monstrous appendages, each ending with mishappen razor-sharp talons instead of fingers.

The unstable magic continued its nightmarish course, and the girl could not comprehend what she was turning into. The additional arms, once talon-tipped extensions of her suffering, began to convulse and contort in a grotesque display.

And then, to Laurens's horror, some of the newly formed arms, or even fingers, lost all their attribute and morphed into tentacles. At least, that's what her scatted psyche thought at first. But as eyes and maws materialized on some of her new appendages, it was clear they were, in actuality, snakes. They slithered from her monstrous limbs, some even falling off like some sort of bud, their hissing adding a discordant layer to the cacophony of her transformation.

"HHehhhHHHeEEEEEllllLooOOoooOOOOPPPPPPP MmMEEEEeeeEEeeeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEeeofoooodd" Lauren wailed, or at least tried to, but her voice was a garbled mess, constantly shifting in pitch from shrill shriek, to low baritone, to even animalistic roar. Her vocal cords were charging and un-changing as unpredictably as the rest of her.

With each passing moment, Lauren's stature swelled with grotesque proportions. The once-human girl expanded to towering heights, her form now a monstrous silhouette against the eerie backdrop of the enchanted forest. Now a nightmarish colossus, Lauren stood at a staggering twelve feet tall. Her body, an amalgamation of talons and writhing snakes continued to sprout more arms and serpents, each one a grotesque extension of her torment.

Her breasts finally took the devilish hue of the rest of her, and her hair exploded out, dwarfing the size of her entire body as a human.

"KAAIiiitllYYYnnnnEEE!!! AzZUUuuuuRRREEEOOEE! ALLIIISssoooNN! LEViiiiIII! AnnYYYYyyOOONNNEEEE! HHHhhhHHEHLLLLPPP! MeEEeEEEE!" Lauren begged, pride long dead and calling for anyone to save her.

"Do you feel it?" the demon asked. "Everything that makes you yourself slipping away. Your mind, your soul! Let it burn away and become one of us!!" The demon howled, as she too began to change.

Her disguised face of Lauren peeled off like a snake shedding its skin. Her hair and skin turned white and eyes flared red. Her wings fell off, the entity never having needed them to fly.

The tormentor, now in her true form, placed her fingers to the side of her mouth, and pulled it into a sinister grin. "Come on Lauren. Give us a smile."

Lauren felt an ominous surge building up within her. She sensed the searing power coursing through her veins. It felt like she was a bomb and couldn't contain the explosion any longer. Her eyes glowed with an infernal radiance, an ominous signal of the darkness flaring within.

With a primal roar, waves of dark magic surged outward from Lauren's monstrous frame, enveloping the haunted forest with an aura strong enough to bend the trees back like a hurricane. The once-girl, now an true demon of the abyss, stood as a creature beyond nightmare. Shadows danced in reverence to her newfound power, and the demon's laughter, mingled with Lauren's primal cries, echoed through the spectral silence.

"RRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

"Oh, there you are," a voice said calmly.

Out of literal thin air, Alison stood aside Lauren, placing her hand against the beast. The maid was completely unfazed by the the skin melting torrent of dark power emanating off the demon, as if it weren't there at all.

"Who the hell are you supposed to be?!" The white haired witch shouted at the intruder, infuriated by the interruption. "No one disturbs Nineteens fun! I hope you're prepared to join her in..."

However, her threat died in her throat the moment Alison looked her dead in the eye. The creature gasped in shocked recognition, her air of superiority disrupted for the first time. "Wait, you're-"

But before she could finish, both Alison, and the mutating monster that was Lauren, vanished.
