Lauren tries to explain, but...

"What on earth?" The doctor said as Lauren stood there, blushing furiously as she was dressed in only a towel.

The little woman in question merely looked up at the doctor in question, her eyes wide as her mouth went dry. She did tell herself that she would be able to come up with some kind of story, but right now, she was frozen in place as she drew a blank on what to do. Her mouth opened and closed, but she couldn't **** any words to come out.

"Where did you come from, Little Girl?" The doctor asked in concern, looking around the hallways before returning her gaze to the little woman. "And where are your Mommy and Daddy?"

Lauren found herself blushing even harder at this. Here she was, twenty-four-years-old and dressed in a bath towel, and she was mistaken for a child! Sure, she was short and underdeveloped for her age, but certainly not small enough to be mistaken for a lost child!

... Right?

That was when Lauren thought about something. As much as she hated to admit it, it was far more likely for the doctor, especially one working in the hospital maternity ward, to help a small child than a full grown adult. She could get clothes to wear, then wait for an opportunity to sneak away again to find the parts she needed to rebuild her time machine and get back home.

All she needed to do was, unfortunately, come up with an excuse as to where her parents were (technically, her parents were in this very hospital, but that would lead to more complicated problems) and had to decide on a younger age. She desperately tried to think about what age she looked without her enhancements, her face burning as she tried to think of an age that wasn't too young.

Unknown to Lauren, something ad happened that she hadn't noticed before this. When the doctor had opened the door, it had taken the little woman so much by surprise, that she had accidentally wet herself in fear. It was a small amount, a barely noticeable puddle at Lauren's feet.

But the doctor had noticed...
