Later That Night...

The door of Fredrick and Victoria's large country home opened. The long hallway was dark and empty, save for the single lingerie clad woman standing in absolutely still attention near the door. The House CPU had pinged Am to have her wait in the doorway for their arrival. Fredrick and Victoria walked in, followed a step behind by Er. Fredrick's step had just a bit more pep to it. He wanted to rush through the door.

"Welcome home, Master and Mistress." Am said robotic ally. She gave a deep bow.

"Thank you." Fredrick said, not properly looking at her. Victoria simply removed her coat and put it into Am's arms. The doll dutifully strode over to the closet to hang it.

"What did you set them to make for dinner?" Victoria turned to Fredrick and asked.

"You were thinking that the entire time, weren't you." He laughed.

"That's not true. Just most of the time." She put a hand over her mouth to hide a grin.

"That reminds me...." He turned to Am, just returning from the closet. "Is dinner complete?"

"I apologize Master." She lowered her head. This time there was something more to her voice. A tinge of fear. "There was a mistake. It added an approximate 27 minute time to completion."

"A mistake?" He removed his jacket and handed it to her. Then he started working off his bow tie. Victoria's eyebrows furrowed at the news. "Who is responsible?"

Am looked up at him, clearly uncomfortable with the scenario.The dolls, of course, had something of a sisterhood among themselves. The CPU made sure that never raised to the level it might be a problem. But, even with **** it was clearly uncomfortable to make her rat out her sister ****. Or perhaps she had been the one responsible? Either would produce a hesitancy to answer.

"Ma was..." She said quietly. Er frowned quietly.
