Katie woke up the next morning, still thoroughly humiliated by the tryouts for cheerleading. In fact she was so bothered that it took a significantly longer amount of time to get ready. So long that her parents and her sister had already left for their respective destinations. In fact, by the time she left the shower, she heard the bus waiting outside her house already. Katie pulled the dress on over her topless body and rushed downstairs. She found her backpack and, throwing it onto her back, she ran outside. Katie threw her hands up and waved them to try and catch the attention of the bus driver. Despite her attempts, the bus drove away, disappearing around the corner. To add injury to insult, rain began to pour down as Katie realized she was now locked out of her house without any phone to call her family with. Her options were limited and pretty bad overall.
