Last day together

It had been a few days after The End, and you had not fully recovered from the lack of sleep and copious amounts of alcohol. However, you wanted to make the most of today. Tomorrow you were taking Marnie to the seaside so she could go home. Then you and Brandy would spend one more night together before packing and leaving the next day.

You enjoyed a cooked breakfast together. You reminisced on your year. You had plans to go to a local stately home and enjoy a picnic and sculpture trail. It was too far to walk, so you took your car. Marnie rode shotgun while Brandy was in a Cantaur trailer. Like a horsbox but decked out for centaurs. It had wat was essentially a wrap-around sofa to provide padding and comfort. There were also proper windows for a good view. Intacom, connected to the car, allowed her to chat with you on the drive and listen to the car's radio. Cars for centaurs to drive were expensive and not designed for humanoid passengers.

The walk was nice and the picnic was good. The sculpture trail had hidden clues on each sculpture. The three of you were very competitive about finding them. However, Marnie complained she had to keep dismounting Brandy and crawling to find them. This did produce results as most of the clues were near the base of the statue giveing Marnie an advantage.
