What's next?

Landing in Country

The flight was long and boring. The view coming in was nice though, green trees over vast acres of jungle and beaches meeting them close by the coast. I could get used to the sight of that, so much nicer than the concrete jungle I call home…

We land and disembark from the plane, the passengers, including myself, mill about the terminal or a bit as our luggage is brought out. That’s the first time I see her.

Beautiful. Dark hair and tan skin. I smile as she approaches…

“Mr. Pounder?” She says in her broken English as she bows, “My name is Nia. I am the guide your company paid for while you are here, I am here to make sure all your needs are met.”

I can’t help but look her over. Knew high boots, tiny denim shorts, and a white button up top… she’s cute. And such a great smile… she’s definitely meeting some ‘needs’ of mine on this trip.
