Chapter 3

Lancer Brianna Holyoak
The first hour had passed and the three beautiful elves prepared to make their move into through the portal. The beautiful dark elf stood at the forefront, backpack strapped securely her large foreboding sword in hands. “Lets be careful, in case betrayal is afoot.” She told the others.
The lancer nodded, drawing her katana, as her spear was to hard to wield with a backpack on. Instead she had strapped it to the back, that she carried. The noble carried nothing as it would prevent her from fighting.
Waiting a moment as her leader went first, she followed into the vortex a moment later. The world faded away, and her head spun. Movement without motion, dizziness without seeing, and then suddenly she was on the other side. Seeing the dark elf’s sexy ass sway as scouted the cove they had landed in, she moved off to the side, to avoid the noble.
She heard more then saw the monk come through the portal, as she noted the one tunnel leading through the sheer rock, that walled off the cove. Like a fissure, it wound its way further onto “We appear to be stuck here.” The priestess said. Turning around she saw the monk looking around, beyond her was a sea, and then nothing but darkness. The portal had vanished behind them.
“At least we have a moon to work with.” She smiled softly looking up into the dark sky, the luminescent orb big and bright.
“No sign of the camp, we should move down the tunnel. Perhaps they made camp ahead.” The busty dark elf mused, turning and heading into the fissure. Nodding the gray elf followed after the priestess. A few short minutes brought them to a small chamber, ever burning torches keeping it lit. The chamber, if you could call it that, was sheer face, on the other side. A drop into oblivion, and from it stretched three paths, made supernaturally bent wood, that extended out and away from each other.
“Some of our city’s use these kinds of roads.” The sexy red head noted, staring out into the humongous forest. The trees were huge, like old elven growths from their homeland.
“The humans should have made camp here. They must have moved on, to find wherever they could. Its not a breach of the truce, but we still have the Nomads behind us. “We'll drop the gear here. Split up and scout ahead. Twenty minutes, then turn back. Should leave us with enough time, to decide to wait, or press on together.” The drow told them.
Brianna nodded, and set down her pack, against the rock wall. With one last look at her two companions, the busty warrior turned to the nearest bridge and trekked across it. Within twenty minutes the bridge arrived at a large landing, almost like one of the old trees had been cut in half, to make a space. In the center was a small squat structure, like an old monastery It was time to turn back, but it might be useful to take a peak.
