Lady Karisi

Turning around you see Lady Karisi standing there looking at you with her big blue eyes. She looks stunning in a normal gown with her hair in a single braid. In your opinion she’s the hottest women you ever meet. Your mind began racing to that night you shared just a few days ago.

“Darien, Darien," a light shove snapped you back to reality "Were you even listening to me?” You felt bad as you actually kind of daydreamed for a little while there. With a long winded sigh, Lady Karisi grabs your hand and she leads you to a balcony looking out into a section of Rathkin.

“Darien, we need to talk about what’s next for us. That was amazing what you did back at Nillix. Commander Rixx is the best warrior in the lands don’t be sad that you lost to him." she tries her best to comfort you “Now that we have time to talk in private I need to ask you a question and I expect a truthful answer.” pausing while looking you in the eyes “Who is Claire? I know that right before one of the fights you muttered the words, for Claire.”

Sighing to yourself, you were hoping to avoid this conversation for as long as possible “She’s, my sister...” you just let it out.

“What!? You have a sister? Why Haven’t I met her? Or even heard about her?” Lady Karisi seems flabbergasted.

“It’s a long story...” your words trail off.

"Tell it to me, we have time."

Hours past as you explain your journey. The two of you still sat outside on the balcony, looking off into the city of Rathkin, bathing in the shining stars and moons.

“So you're telling me that you were a farm boy from Errian and your city was attacked by Rathkin..." she looks at you while you nod "Your family was killed except that Commander Rixx took your sister and eventually after all this time you you make your way here and fight in the slums for years?"

"Yep, ..." you reply

“You're special, Darien I’ve never met a man with that kind of drive for anything. Your Drive, your courage to fight Rixx as a boy." she places a hand on your shoulder “I see that I couldn’t have picked a better man as my champion Darien. You're a man of such value, Darien. You went through hell for five years to get your sister back and yet still...you choose to come back to Rathkin. You're a very special person Darien.”

"I’m not special!" you exclaim "I’m just a man that will do anything to get his sister back come hell or high water."

“What can I do to help?”

“Nothing as of now. She’s in the Syndicate. That's all I know. Well, at least that's what Rixx told me. It's also why he spared me because apparently he trained her for three years.”

“So what are you gonna do?” she questions.

“Simple I’m going to train every single day I can and move up the ranks in Rathkin! Once I’m strong enough I’m going to get her back.”

“I’ve never met a man like you Darien, a man with such honor, a man with such drive. If I can ever help let me know." her hand continues to caress your shoulder as you nod back at the Lady of Rathkin.

"Now back to Business!" her hand finally leaves your shoulder as it lays back down on her own lap "What’s next for us Darien? You have made enough gold for the both of us that you won’t ever have to work again in your life. But you don’t seem like your done yet.”

“You're right! I’m not done yet as there is still much that is needed to be done.”

Thinking about all you have yet to do. Such as getting stronger, raising though the ranks of Rathkin and most importantly getting Claire back.

Lady Karisi's voice snaps you back to reality. “Darien you'll be famous around here pretty soon if you keep it up.”

“I won’t lie the fame and power are nice, but they are not my ultimate goal.”

“Darien, imagine what we could do together. We could dominate the lands together. You and I.”

“What do you have in mind?” Wondering what you do from here.

“I’ll explain where we go from here tomorrow, for now, go rest” she orders as she begins to push herself up from her seated position and walks back through the door into her home.

Watching as she disappears down a hallway and back in to the house. You continue to stare at the stars thinking about what happens next.

Time flies by as you are once again lost in your thoughts. You know that there is much that needs to be done.

Opening your pouch and taking out that purple tulip, letting it flow and twirl around in your fingers. "Claire, where ever you are. I promise that we will be together again. No one will ever take you from me again." you grumble out in anger.

You lost everything once before because you were too weak. You'll never again be too weak to protect the people you love.

That very thought lights a fire burning deep with in you, something you haven’t had sense Claire was first taken. A fire that has just been rekindled, higher and stronger than it has even been before.

Knowing what you must do, you stand up and turn back towards the house, leaving the balcony behind you. Knowing you want to immediately start some training you make your way towards the courtyard to get every thing that was taken from you back.

To busy thinking you slam into someone.
