Lady Karisi hesitates...

Lady Karisi looks at you, noticing the slight terror in your eyes as you talk about your sister. She squints at you, her grip on her goblet tightens on the golden stem.

"Karisi...Please!" you ask once more

She swallows hard, taking another sip from her goblet before placing it on the table before her. "Thank you." is all she lets out.

"Huh?" you're dumbfounded, curious why Karisi would only say that. "Thank you for what?' you question

"Telling me the truth." she begins "I remember back in the qualifying rounds." her hand runs up, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear "I sat there quietly, praying and hoping you would win, when all of a sudden you said "for Claire."" she fidgets in her seat "I know I heard you, I know what you said, but when I asked you, you ignored me, saying you said nothing." she exhales a giant sum of air "ever since that time, I knew you were fighting for something more than fame. Fighting for something more than glory. You were fighting for something personal, something important." Once more, she takes a drink out of her goblet "Family is important. Very important." her eyes look at you.

"Karisi..." you mumble out.

She grins at you, the corner of her lip curling up in your direction, she actually looks happy "Thank you for telling me the truth, Darien." she finally releases from her mouth.

"Uhh.." you're caught off guard briefly "Well, of course."

"I'll see what I can do." she lets out

"Huh?" questioning her

"I will try to get you into the castle." she replies "if your sister is really there...I will try my best." she nods at you.

"Karisi..." your cheeks perk up, you can't help but smile at her, the lady of Rathkin who carried you to where you are. The lady of Rathkin who helped you move on your way. She's using her stature, her power, her priveledge to hopefully get you into the castle. "Thank you." you stand up from your chair and walk over towards Karisi, gripping her hand "Thank you so much." you whisper, lifting her hand up and giving it a kiss "I owe you..." you shake her hand up and down "Forever in your debt..."
