Lab assistant (nbm route)

Something enticed Alyssa about this 'unorthodox restraint' deal, so she she went with that one. Clarence looked rather taken aback.

"Oh, you are rather brazen, aren't you?" He said.

"Just curious."

"You are aware that so many people complained about this that it became a punishment?"

"And I cannot think why that would be," Alyssa retorted.

"Well, if that's your decision..." Clarence produced a pair of handcuffs from his briefcase. "Put these on and follow me."

Alyssa did as she was told. She slipped the handcuffs on behind her back and followed Clarence through the resort. Alyssa was now able to see it, and she had to admit, it looked rather nice. It was nice and quaint, with restrained people going to and fro while restrained. They even passed by one woman who was hogtied, but still crawling like a caterpillar across a beach.

Eventually they reached a secluded cluster of buildings near the edge of the resort. They were sleek and modern in their aesthetic, at odds with the rest of the place. Alyssa assumed them to be maintenance buildings.

Clarence led them in through some automatic doors and the two of them entered an air-conditioned room. They passed through what appeared to be metal detectors, but they gave no sound in relation to Alyssa's cuffs.

"They are bio-readers," Clarence explained. They simply monitor your vital signs. Nothing to worry about."

They went down a few more corridors and eventually came to two scientists in one of the labs. Alyssa assumed they were scientists. They were wearing transparent lab coats. Both were wearing pristine white swimwear underneath. The male a pair of speedos, the woman a one-piece. They both looked to be in their late thirties.

"I have a new assistant for you two," Clarence announced.

The two scientists looked up, and beamed with genuine happiness. They were overjoyed to have someone turn up to help them. "Oh hello!" the man greeted. "You must be Alyssa. My name is Mark, and this is Loretta."

They all shook hands. Clarence gave his goodbyes and left the lab.

"I am sure it will be a pleasure to work with you, Alyssa," Loretta said. "No-one ever volunteers for this job."

"Why not?"

"Oh, they all don't trust us, I suppose," Mark sighed. "But never fair, your safety is our primary concern."

"Safety? Why, what will I be doing?"

Mark and Loretta exchanged a look. "Its easier to just show you. With your permission?"

"Of course," Alyssa shrugged. Mark opened one of the drawers near him and handed Alyssa a small object
