Kyle just gives it her straight.

Kyle looked at Robin for a moment only to turn around as the vat opened and he heard her low voice for the first time saying "Where am I?" which caused Kyle to lock up "I was just on the Egghead Island, why am I here? Where is here?" asking so many questions, as she looked down saying casually "Oh, I'm naked." before spying her outfit to the left as Kyle was frozen as a statue trying not to look at her while she redressed reading the box "RealDreams? What could that be?" she turned and looked at Kyle as she said "I'm decent," to get his attention as Kyle looked up very quietly. His mind was racing a mile a minute, holy shit, holy shit, holy shit, this is really happening! What did he just get himself into!

"You're going to dehydrate yourself sweating so much," Robin teased as she crossed her arms, "Mind explaining to me what's going on here?" in a stern motherly tone that got Kyle to pick her in the first place. Turning around, taking a deep breath Kyle looked into the beautiful blue pools of sight she had on her face, Robin repeated "I know you're nervous but if you cooperate you'll find there's no reason to be."

Kyle took the deepest breath as he said "Hello, Robin, it's nice to meet you in person. My name is Kyle, and umm, how do I put this..." he paced a bit "I didn't think part through, forgive me." Robin crossed her arms looking at him wondering what he meant by that "You're not in your world." he said slowly letting that sink in first. "In this world you're a character from a japanese manga/anime called "One Piece"." pointing to his manga collection for proof, "You're probably my favorite character...if I'm being honest."

There was utter silence as Kyle feared that he already screwed this up, he paused hearing the flipping of paper spotting that Robin had taken one of his One Piece Manga's, the one with her backstory, as she flipped though it in silence skim reading it at best. She closed the book and looked around and saw posters of various media, but mostly One Piece and he noticed that she was present in most of them. She then looked at him and said "I'm still a bit skeptical but the evidence is a bit overwhelming." She spotted the couch "May I?" Kyle let out a nod as she looked up at him "So how am I here? Off the page so to speak."

Kyle took a deep breath "Well, I kind of paid for that to happen," he said slowly "If I sit next to you, I'm fine right? I'm really nervous." Robin gently patted her seat as he sat down finding it a lot easier to talk to the wall next to her and not her directly. She needed to know the truth, it was now or never. "There's been a major technological breakthrough mostly performed by the company, RealDreams. They've figured out how to flawlessly recreate well...characters," he took a deep breath continuing not sure what Robin was thinking but he wasn't being choked out. "I, usually just ignored them since it didn't seem like it would be my thing but," he kept going "It's gotten kind of lonely lately around here, just me and my cat. I wanted a companion and, I'm not that good with girls." he admitted out right "So, I figured having you around would be fine, just a friendly face to come to every day when I get off work. Someone to be on me to make sure my apartment was clean and someone to keep Meadow company."

Robin looked at him as she crossed her arms. "That's, all, you want?" her tone sounding extremely skeptical. She looked at him asking "There's no other reason, or reasons, you did this?" She wasn't an idiot and Kyle knew this, "I find that hard to believe."

Kyle admitted "Okay, like most people who use RealDreams to make their anime crushes, the thought did occur in my head for you to sleep with me." he looked down so embarrassed as he felt a hand lift him up the thing sprouting out of nowhere on his body. It made him look at her. "But I just don't want to be alone, so...it's why I'm just glad you're here."

Robin took a very deep breath as a wave of clear pity came from her. She went to say something but let out another sigh saying “I’m going to be honest, I don’t know how to feel about all of this.” She continued stating “Or if what you even said was true.”

Robin asked point blank, “But let’s say it is true, what are you expecting me to do, drop all my dreams just to settle down with you? That hardly seems fair,” which caused Kyle to deflate a bit. It wasn’t fair to Robin, this was all selfish and he knew it! He should have never done this, Robin held him up and said “At the same time, if I’m a character in your world and you bought and paid for me, I’m guessing I can’t leave?” Kyle shook his head with vigor, he’s heard what happens to characters who run or worse kill their buyers. It’s not pretty.

Robin stood up as she asked “Why me?” A question that had more weight than she knew. “You could have had pretty much anyone,” she noticed out of the corner of her eye the hiding frame of a feline. She sprouted a hand to pet it. She continued “But you chose me.” She turned and asked “Why?”

Kyle took a deep breath watching his cat just melt under Robin’s hands she sprouted a few more to hold the cat in her arms. “I told you,” he said quietly “You’re my favorite character. You’re so cool, I love your dark bluntness, how you look out for the other Straw Hats,” he wasn’t sure if Robin was still listening so he kept going “Not to mention, you’re drop dead gorgeous. You’re into history like I am and…”

A hand sprouted that put a finger on Kyle’s lips “I am still skeptical about all of this but I’m choosing to believe you since you do seem very lonely, but nice enough I guess.” She stood in front of him as Kyle felt his heart racing “So, Ground Rules. I want to know more about your world’s history, you are to continue acting like a gentleman, you will be mindful and respectful to the fact you have a woman in your apartment now, in return I’ll help around her, play with your cat, and if you want to take me somewhere I will follow. Sound fair?”

Kyle nodded “More than fair, I’ll swing my the library and get some history books,” he paused a bit at that “and maybe some internet how to books so you can keep up, we’ll probably go shopping for new clothes and we’ll read the latest One Piece manga together so you stay caught up.” Robin offered her hand as he gently took it the two shaking on their deal made to each other
