To the library!

It wasn’t that hard to figure out where to go first, the Library was perfect. Robin likes to read, so does Kyle, she wants to know the history of their world, he’s okay brushing up on some folklore stories, especially the ones about various monsters of legend. He’s a bit of a sucker for them.

As they entered however, he noticed the stares, more accurately glares, from the staff as Kyle did not know why. He saw various other characters here too, Hermine from Harry Potter, Black Widow movie edition, and he wasn’t alone in the anime department as he made out some Hinata Hyugas from Naruto, or Rhys from High School DxD. The only difference is that most had collars on, something he outright rejected. That would be so traumatic for poor Robin.

The Librarian said her gaze fierce and firery him, “A reminder sir, Just because we are legally bound to allow characters in does not mean we will tolerate inappropriate behavior. Is that clear?” Robin look down at him as Kyle was bright red super embarrassed, gently she patted his back as Kyle merely nodded as the two found a seat as Kyle got some Ancient History books, as well as some internet how tos for Robin since she’s really going to need that.

For himself he smiled as he got a book about Urban Lrgends, about beings that supposedly curse the world, though admittedly some do exist as characters but hey they’re still fun to read about. Robin looked up and asked “Folklore huh?”

“Yeah Folklore, Urban Legends, campfire stories, I got a little soft spot for old legends.” Kyle said relaxing a little around Robin, finally getting used to talking to her normally, the nerves from yesterday fading a bit as he continued “Admittedly most these stories are kind of moot since most are made by RealDreams.” He said minding his volume “But the idea of the non-altered version being out there is fascinating.”

“I saw that I’m assuming the box I came in,” which she wasn’t wrong but Kyle’s nerves came back with a vengeance remembering Robin being naked in that tube, his train of thought was, thankfully, interrupted by Robin asking “What is this RealDreams?”

“Well RealDreams is a company that found some way to make fictional characters in our world, well…real” he explained as Robin seemed to be listening intently “It’s a close kept secret to how they do it but it’s been available for a little while now. Characters are used for all sorts of things: security, Manuel labor, having someone strong to protect their kids, or just to have a companion to come home to and know they can talk to them about anything. Which is what I made you for. I just wanted some to come home to and talk to who I know would actually listen to me.”

“Interesting,” Robin said as she looked around at the characters in the library, she noticed that most had a collar around their necks. She pause a bit and saw these characters, some of them looked like their minds were gone, just a puppet. Curious, she used her powers to sprout ears secretly around the library while she spoke to Kyle, and it took her a lot to not retch or break her poker face while Kyle went to his book.

There’s a significant amount of creations here that have a very lust filled relationship that is nothing more than a Master with a broken sex ****. Her eyes wandered to Kyle and his confession yesterday about wanting to sleep with her. If she is a creation, a character, does that mean she’ll end up like them?!

Deciding to test something she asked “Kyle, I have a question about my creation.” Which made Kyle look up “Does RealDreams offer modifications to characters things that they would not normally do or say?”

There was a very heavy sigh from Kyle as he looked at the raven haired beauty in his eyes as he said “Yes," which he noticed caused a slight bit of concern in her eyes, thankfully not full on Orobin shock. He explained "While there are people like me who have nothing but the best intentions for characters, the primary market for these characters are towards people with more...erotic fantasies," which Robin noticed Kyle cringe at "Most just warp the character's mind into being a happy little servant that will obey any command from their master," he looked around at some of characters there and sighed and stressed "any command." Robin noticed that Kyle's eyes briefly glanced at her breasts as she instinctively moved her hand.

Kyle noticed and said "Me, I just wanted Nico Robin. The only alteration I made was..." Kyle locked on what he was about to say, what would Robin do if she found out about the termination chip? Robin looked at him waiting on baited breath. Kyle sighed, this was his dream girl, He takes a deep breath and said "It's an emergency protocol, a Termination chip. I'm sure you know what that means." Kyle admitted waiting for Robin's wrath. "It seemed like a wise precaution at the time."
