Kurt meets Lisa

Kurt’s eyes were focused on the lap dance that Hannah was giving Brandon, but as soon as he saw Lisa, he lost all focus on everything else. Lisa? Lisa? Where have I heard…Oh that must be Zack’s ex. Damn! Zack has good taste in women! How on earth did he not turn into what I used to be? he asked to himself. With a quiet coolness, he stepped over to the new arrival to make his introduction.

“Hi! I’m Kurt Johnson!” he offered his hand to the girl in front of him.

“Lisa. Lisa Rivera! Nice to meet you Kurt. So how do you know everybody?” she responded.

“Heather’s my little cousin. My family was visiting hers for a few days, so I tagged along. When I found out that she was coming out here with her friends, I decided they needed me to tag along some more,” he said.

Lisa laughed at his confidence. As Kurt spoke, she looked around the room for Zack. There was something she needed to talk to him about. Not seeing him initially, she gave up and decided to talk with the one person who approached her.

“So you’re in college?” she asked.

“Yeah, we have a late Spring Break, so I didn’t get to go to South Padre this year. But oh well, can’t spend every Spring Break drinking myself into oblivion,” he chuckled.

“WOW! Looks like I came to the right party!” Lisa said as she saw Hannah giving someone a lap dance.

“Yup! And you got here just in time, too!” Kurt said as he pointed out a few other pairs of people enjoying each other.

“TAYLOR AND PETER!” she gasped.

“What about them?” he asked.

“Well, they’re like…best friends. I assume you know Chloe and Zack. Same deal between those two,” she smiled.

“You mean that Chloe?” he asked pointing out the red-head who was now actively kissing Gavin.

“When the Hell did Chloe and Gavin hook up?” she asked.

“Yesterday,” Kurt said.

“And what about my ex, Zack?” she demanded to know.

“He’s over there trying to get with Vicky, but she’s enamored with that Dustin kid, though I don’t know why,” he admitted.

“Why Zack or Why Vicky?”

“Both! Zack is stuck on her, but doesn’t realize that my cousin is all but throwing herself at him. And I’ve known that Dustin clown for exactly an hour and can already tell that he’s a douchebag trapped in a nice kid’s body,” Kurt stated.

“Heather likes Zack? Never saw that one coming,” Lisa admitted.

“I did. Knew it the first time I saw him. The way she said his name when she introduced us back at the house in Azure Rocks, I could tell. Also she rigged this little roommate game she came up with so that she’d share a room with him,” Kurt laughed.

“Wow! She’s got it bad. Wait a minute…Is that Ashley hitting on Shawn over there? Where the Hell is Brandon?” Lisa puzzled.

“He’s getting a face full of Hannah’s breasts right now,” Kurt flinched.

“WHAT. THE. FUCK!? Did we enter the Bermuda Triangle or something? All the people I know are hooking up with someone I would never expect them to!” Lisa was shocked.

“I think everyone is just having some fun,” he told her.

“And what about you, Kurt? Have you hooked up with anyone yet?” she asked.

“Me? No.”

“And why not? A good-looking guy like yourself? Not into guys, are you?” Lisa teased.

“HAHAHA! GOD NO! No, I’m under threat of **** to steer clear of Heather’s girlfriends. Kind of limits my options to the other three,” he said, noticing that she was standing a bit closer to him now.

“Not interested in the others?” she asked.

“Well, Hannah is more than occupied with Brandon and Taylor and Peter seem to be having fun with each other, so I’m going stag for the moment,” Kurt shrugged.

“What about Kendra?” Lisa suggested.

“Is that her name?” Kurt asked pointing to the girl still dancing by herself, “The way she hinges on Shawn’s every move, she should probably have his name branded into her ass! So all the women are taken.”

“Ah hem! Aren’t you forgetting someone, Kurt?” she stamped her foot.

“Like who?”

“Like me, silly! You could fool around with me if you like!” Lisa informed him.
