Chapter 181 by JoeSte91 JoeSte91

Can Kurt get out of the chair? What's the second part of Shawn's plan?

Kurt Appeals to Kendra

“Shit!”

Kurt’s voice rang out through the warehouse, echoing back at him mockingly, taunting him as he bucked fruitlessly in his chair, jeans still bunched down around his ankles, his soft, raw cock lying limp between his legs. And as he swore, and kept swearing into the air, Kendra lifted herself from her knees and took the seat opposite, folding her arms across her chest and crossing her legs, watching his tantrum with narrowed eyes.

“Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, SHIT!!!”

“Cut it out already,” Kendra snapped, rubbing her forehead. “You’re gonna give me a headache.”

Kurt simmered down, bowing his head and closing his eyes as he tried to block out how dire the situation was and how utterly helpless he felt. He had to figure a way out of this. But he was tied tight to the chair, and even if he did by some miracle manage to free himself, he had no idea where to go. He didn’t have the first clue as to where Dustin and Shawn’s dad’s apartment could be. The only way out, the only one who could tell him, was Kendra.

“Kendra, you need to let me out of this chair,” he begged, clenching his fists. “You need to let me stop this.”

The brunette laughed, a sweet, bitter chuckle, and said, “You really must think I truly am a dumb slut if you believe I’d ever let you out of that chair.”

“Listen, I just said that to get a rise out of Shawn,” Kurt explained, thinking on his feet. “But I get it. What was it you said earlier? You’re ‘in a relationship and…have to think of the other person’s needs’. I get it, you really do care for Shawn.”

“Of course, I care for Shawn,” Kendra scoffed and rolled her eyes, looking away into some dark part of the room. “He’s handsome, and smart, and wise to the ways of the world. He’s the only man I’ve ever been with. And I’m not stupid. I know he’s rough around the edges, but at least he’s honest with me.”

“You’re right, exactly right, which is why I’m going to be honest with you now,” Kurt replied, noticing her watching him out of the corner of her eyes. “I need you to let me go. Now so I can save myself, or save Victoria, but so I can save Shawn.”

Kendra burst out laughing this time, almost doubling over at Kurt’s suggestion. But the blonde teen held his nerve and remained silent, patiently waiting for her to finish and reply, “Save Shawn? What exactly do you think Shawn needs saving from? And why would I believe that you of all people would have any interesting in doing so, even if he did hypothetically need saving?”

“Because saving Shawn will save Victoria. See, I’m not lying. Our interests are just aligned,” Kurt leaned forward, speaking quickly, **** to get to Victoria before Shawn could do whatever terrible thing he must have planned. “You heard what Dustin said, right? About his life in the new town?”

“He hates it. He doesn’t fit in with his family, he has no friends and he’s still hopeless obsessed with the blonde,” Kendra reiterated Dustin’s own words from earlier, shifting in her seat towards Kurt. “But, that’s why Shawn’s doing what he’d doing. That’s the lesson he’s going to teach Dustin.”

Kurt frowned, wondering if Kendra actually believed that or if she, like Shawn was just toying with him. He didn’t want to waste time trying to convince Kendra, just to be mocked and degraded, and yet, it wasn’t like he had any other option. If there was a chance, even a one percent chance, that Kendra could be convinced, he had to take it.

“Shawn’s lesson is going to help Dustin fit in with his family and make friends?” Kurt asked. “I don’t understand.”

“Of course, you don’t,” Kendra brushed the hair out of her face as she reclined in the chair, staring smugly at Kurt’s lack of comprehension. “But that’s mostly because you don’t know Dustin. All of those things are his own fault. He’s got this brooding and asocial personality. He overthinks and he’s naïve. He’s misanthropic but believes people can be convinced through theological and philosophical discussions. He doesn’t understand how the world works.”

“Then neither do I,” Kurt retorted, goading Kendra to continue her explanation. “Obviously, Shawn isn’t going to interrupt their night just to talk, I guess.”

“That’s not Shawn’s style. He’s direct, and he understands that the best way to turn someone to your side isn’t to talk them down but outmanoeuvre them. Which is exactly what he plans to do to Dustin,” Kendra said, confidently, looking Kurt dead in the eye. “He’s going to fuck Victoria right in front of him, and show him that she’s just another little bitch, waiting to break his heart.”

Kurt bowed his head, and Kendra smiled, thinking he was defeated, until a moment later, he threw his head back, laughing up towards the rafters.

“All of this…so your ‘boyfriend’ can cuckold his little brother?” Kurt panted for breath. “And you helped?”

“Shut up!” Kendra growled and stamped her foot. “Just because you don’t understand…”

“Oh, I understand, and honestly, I think you do too. Like I said, I get it,” Kurt smiled, thinking of the past week of his life, remembering the past year. “Suffering so that someone else can be happy, I know what that’s like. It’s a façade and just because the mask you’re wearing isn’t the same as the one I’m wearing, doesn’t mean I don’t understand what you’re doing. You think this is what’s best for Shawn, that it’ll make him happy, so you willingly go along with it…but you’re wrong.”

Kendra stared at Kurt for a long, hard minute, her expression tight lipped and stony, before she finally replied, “You don’t know what you’re talking about?”

“Don’t I?” Kurt arched an eyebrow, still smiling. “Even so, I think you are smart enough to realise that what Shawn’s doing isn’t going to help him. It isn’t even going to help his brother. What’s Shawn’s life like in the new town? Does he have a new lease on life? Getting on well with his parents? Lots of friends? Is he dating?”

“Shawn…has always been aloof and confrontational. He tries to make his father proud, but his father is hard to please…” Kendra shook her head, trying to get Kurt out of it. “All of this is beside the point.”

“No, it’s exactly the point.” Kurt said firmly. “What does Shawn have left? You…and Dustin! And tonight, he’s going to absolutely obliterate one of the only relationships he’s got left. If he does this, there’s no coming back for him. His brother will never want to see him again. Even if his father can somehow erase the crimes, he’ll never be trusted again. Shawn will be completely alone and utterly rejected.” Kurt saw Kendra’s eyes widen, accepting the truth of Kurt’s argument. “Kendra, there’s love in sacrificing your own feelings to allow someone else to be happy, but ignoring the reality of the situation as someone digs their way to hell is nothing but foolishness.”

“I…shit!” Kendra stood abruptly, turning away from Kurt and kicking over the chair. “I’m so…confused. Shawn said not to let you out of my sight…but I know what he’s doing isn’t right. He’s going to hurt Victoria, Dustin and himself…but wasn’t that the whole plan? What was the point if I throw it all away now?”

“The point is that you’ll save Shawn. Free me and I’ll stop Shawn,” Kurt urged the brunette. “He might not like it but what we like isn’t always what’s best for us.”

Kendra looked over her shoulder at the blonde teen for a moment, staring at his genuine distress before rushing around behind him, her fingers working on his restrains. “My car is outside,” she told him. “We used it to bring you here and drop off Dustin earlier, but Shawn will have taken his motorcycle, so it’ll still be outside.”

“Thank you, Kendra,” Kurt said as his hands and feet were freed, standing stiffly, his muscles sore from being **** to sit for so long, before pulling up his jeans and buckling the belt. “You won’t regret this.”

“I hope so,” Kendra frowned. “Now you need to get going. This will be all kinds of pointless if I disobey Shawn and you don’t even get there on time.”

Kurt nodded, and after receiving the address from Kendra, he ran from the warehouse, finding a car parked outside, just as Kendra had instructed. Jumping in the driver’s seat, and turning the ignition, he punched the address into the GPS. Within a matter of seconds, he sped off willing himself to reach Victoria before Shawn could do too much damage. He felt bad lying to Kendra. She was obviously a devoted woman, and he’d manipulated that devotion, when really, he didn’t care what happened to Shawn. He wasn’t even bothered about Dustin. His first, and only, priority was the safety of Victoria Walker.

Can Kurt get to Victoria in time?
