Kris is nowhere to be found

Jenna arrived at the arena, to her disappointment not finding anyone around the place when she entered. "Jess? Kris? Rav? Raen? Lind! Jess! Anyone?!" Jenna yelled, only getting silence back. Just to be sure, Jenna walked around the arena in search of signs where her fellow valkyrie might've been gone to. After a round around the edge of the arena, Jenna saw something flashing within the obstacle course and made her way inside.

While pushing away branches and vines, she stepped into a small open area and saw a glittering dust glide past through the air in front of her. First she came to the conclusion this dust reflecting in the sunlight was what caused the flash, but then her heart skipped a beat when a dark thought came to mind: "Jess?". She followed the light stream of dust to its origin and saw a small pile of stardust on the floor. Her heart sank into her feet. "Noooo…" she whined softly, "Faye, Siris, now you…".

After standing there in sadness, she remembered her plight and reminded herself that she still had other valkyrie to save. "Lind would now probably at home. The twins, she wouldn't know where they would hang out at this moment. Could be anywhere. Kris. She is always off the grid. Ok. Lind it is." Jenna thought and went to her friend's home.

When Jenna knocked on Lind's door, nobody answered. Then Jenna tried the knob, and noticed the door was open. "Lind never leaves the door unlocked when she's gone…" Jenna thought and went inside. The first thing she noticed was the boiling water, for which she quickly put out the fire under it. Then she saw the fresh groceries still unpacked on the kitchen counter. After that she noticed the open balcony doors and saw the dust glistering in the sun as it drifted outside. "Lind, not you too…" Jenna whispered while she quickly followed the stream to its origin.

There she found another pile, much bigger than the on in the arena, on the bed above some still wet stains. The book she got from Faye was laying near the head end. "Damnit." Jenna cursed in herself. Then there was only one option left to have a shot at saving one valkyrie with the info she got, if she wasn't too late already. Quickly, Jenna left Lind's home and headed for her next location.

"Hello, anyone here?" Jenna asked while looking through the open door of a small houae at the edge of the city. "Yes, I am here. Who is it?" an old and crackling voice yelled back from inside the house. Jenna responded with "My name is Jenna. I am a friend of Kris'.". The othe voice then said "Ah, a valkyrie. Come in, come in. Please.", which Jenna did. Then she saw an old woman dressed in the most colorful and extravagant clothing she had ever seen. Jenna reprimanded herself for letting her mind wander and quickly asked "Do you know where Kris is? It's very important that I find her fast.".

The old woman shook her head "I am very sorry, dear, but you probably also know very well that when Kris is away, she is virtually untrackable.". Jenna nodded, but the old woman could see and hear the stress and urgency coming from Jenna and asked "She should coming by within the hour, she always does around this time. Do you want to wait for her here?". Jenna shook her head, replying "I sadly can't wait for her here, as I got other people to...warn. But if you could, would it be possible for you to hand her this book?". The woman nodded and said "Of course, dear. I will do so as soon as I see her. I will make sure she will understand the urgency behind it.". Jenna thanked the woman and quickly made her way to the royal palace.
