Korra overhears something outside of the warehouse

Asami wasn't kidding when she said today would be busy. It's been almost an hour and Korra hasn't been able to get in much talking. If she wasn't recognizable as the Avatar people would probably think Korra was her assistant.

Asami is talking to multiple new employees about what they should be doing for the day. After finishing up and leading Korra to what looks like a break room, she collapses onto a folding chair and drops her clipboard. "I'm so glad that's done... Ever since we started with this place I've had to hire so many new employees." She stares at the ceiling and then back down to Korra. "So what've you been up to? Any big bad shown up recently?"

Korra chuckles. "Hah no, not since Zaheer. the biggest thing I've had to deal with is the occasional squabble between gangs."

"Sounds boring." Asami says with a smile.

"Kinda..."

Asami stretches and stands up, grabbing some water for her and Korra. "You talk to Bolin or Mako recently?"

"Kinda, I talked to Bolin like a week ago, it's been a little longer for Mako though. They're both busy..."

The two talk for another little while before Asami checks the time. "Oh shoot! We took too long, I'm behind schedule. Sorry Korra but I have to go." She says hurriedly as she rushes out the door.

Korra goes to catch up with her, but realizes that the water she drank went right through her. She'll catch up after finding a bathroom, this place has to have a bathroom, right?

After a minute of searching, Korra walks by a window, casually glancing out before doing a double take. She couldn’t find a bathroom but there was a portable one setup right outside for the workers. "I guess that'll do." She opens the window and hops out before walking up to the box.

As she is finishing up her business Korra hears something outside. She stops what she's doing and listens.

"Well what the hell does he want me to do about it?"

"She might not even be here by then, if I'm gonna do this I need that thing as soon as possible."

She can't hear who the man is talking to, why are they being so quiet?

"Maybe if he didn't let them get away, we wouldn't have to deal with the police too. He can stall them for a day or two, I need that gun now!"

"Okay, tomorrow would probably work. Just make sure I get it by sunrise."

That... sounded awfully familiar. Is he talking about that strange device she dealt with the other night? Is he with the triple threats? Who are they after? Korra quickly opens the door and rushes out into the open to confront whoever was talking outside, but is met with a large number of construction workers going about their job. Dammit, she won't be able to find them like this, she needs to let Asami know her employees are up to something shady.

Almost 30 minutes of searching later, Korra can't find Asami and hasn't been able to find anyone that knows where she is. Until finally she asks someone that knows. "Yeah she just left, something about a meeting with some investors, she'll probably be gone for a while."

Great... There's no way she'll find her now. Defeated, the Avatar leaves the warehouse.

On her way back into republic city, Korra thinks about what she heard. There's no way the triple threats and that are connected right? Besides, the police are all over it... Maybe she'll go talk to them in the morning, just to make sure...
