Knocking on a 'Do Not Disturb' door

Remi had worked her way down an entire hallway already, depositing the collected laundry back in the machines downstairs and taking the opportunity to yell at Safiya's lazy stoner ass more for ruining her work day. She had even made it halfway down the second floor before there were any major issues-- but there were always issues when Remi had to clean up after Safiya.

She was finally feeling like she had things under control when she knocked on a door in the middle of the hallway. "Laundry service," she announced to those inside. Business as usual. She yawned, waiting for any sort of response but hoping that none would come and that she would be able to keep going. Then, halfway through her yawn, she glanced down at the door knob again and realized that one of the housekeeping signs was hanging from it. It read "DO NOT DISTURB" in large black letters, and Remi's heart sank. Odds were good that this was not going to end well for her.

Some guests were nice about accidents like this, but others were practically outraged whenever it happened. Remi didn't want to wait around to see which one it was, but it wasn't like she could run and hide somewhere else. She still had to take care of the laundry on this floor. So she waited, fists clenched anxiously, for whatever might be coming her way.
