Kiss her

'Hang on, you know what?' you say, in a moment of madness. 'This isn't right.'

'What do you mean?' Alice asks, now shocked.

'I have feelings for you,' you tell her. 'And I've had feelings for you for a long time. And seeing you now only made those feelings awaken again much more. I can't see you get married to Pascal, the fucking "jock". That wouldn't be right.'

'Well, Robbie, it's too late for that now. You will have to acc-'

You break her off by grabbing her by the shoulders and kissing her on the mouth deeply. It's a little too forceful for you to be comfortable with, but you can't help yourself. You really want this, and you know she does too, no matter what she tells you. It's a very short kiss, and she pushed you away after a few seconds. She stares at you angry, and confused.

'I'm sorry, I just really wanted to do that,' you apologize. 'I've been wanting to do that for a long time.'

'Robbie... you can't just...' she stammers, completely caught by surprise. 'Not now... not after all this time... not after what I told you...'

'I know, I'm really sorry,' you tell her. 'This is not like me at all... I just... I don't know... I...'

'You know, it's not that I don't want this...' she says, confused. 'I do want this. But... just after everything that's happened... I can't... it's too late... too complicated. '

'We can make this simple then,' you tell her. 'We can run away together if you want to.' You don't know why you tell her this now, you've never thought about this before. But in this moment, running away together seems like the most sane thing in the world.

'You know I couldn't do that, Robbie, it would be very unfair to Pascal.'

You hate that she's adressing you with your first name in every sentence, it makes you feel like a child. And maybe you are being a little childish right now, you can't expect her to run off with you at the drop of a hat. It's very unfair to her. But your feelings make you lose control.

'I know I'm being unfair, but I want you, Alice. I'm very sure of that. I can't lie to you.'

She looks away, and you sit in silence for a while, her puffing the joint a little to relax. She passes it to you, and you do the same, looking at her a little desperately. Finally, she speaks.

'I want you, Robbie, I really do...'

'So why not do this together?' you ask her, meaningfully.

'It's not that easy, Robbie, I can't just run away from my responsibilities. I have a life.'

'But we can have a life too. Together.'

'Maybe... maybe not...' she tells you, carefully. 'And I've had my fair share of doubts about Pascal, sure... but he's a good guy... I can't just leave him...'

'But it's about your happiness, Alice,' you tell her wisely. 'Not his. It's your choice. You're both adults now, and you can make your own choices.'

'You're right, of course... and this feels right... but I don't know... you just show up here again after four years and ask me to go away with you... it's a bit much.'

'I know it is, and I did wrong by you,' you earnestly say. 'I should have had you when I had the chance. But I was a stupid teenager then. I've wised up now, and here I am. Asking for your affection. It's your choice now.'

'I can't just leave Pascal for you, Robbie. Not now anyway.'

'Well, at least we can have a little fun, right?' you ask desperately. The kiss from earlier has strained your pants to no end. 'Pascal doesn't have to know.'

Alice laughs, for the first time in a while. 'You're incorrigible, you know that Robbie?'

You shrug, smiling a little. Alice looks at you, a smile on her face too. You stare into each other's eyes then, for what seems like hours. You can feel the mutual affection for each other, like an otherworldly ****, that's impossible to resist. It's amazing.

'You know what? Fuck it!' she says, and grabs you by your mid riff. You kiss each other passionately, long and hard. It feels fantastic. All the tension between you that you felt before seems to disappear, leaving only careless intensity. Suddenly, she pushes you away and says; 'I'm still not sure about this, alright? Pascal can never find out. Promise?'

'I promise,' you tell her, and continue kissing her again, wholeheartedly.

Your hands explore each other's back, and make their way down towards your buttocks. It's very clear that nothing can stop you now in the throes of passion.
