Kiss her now!

"Please, for-" is all she is able to say before you stop the words with a kiss.

Her body stiffens in your arms, and for just a moment you feel her start to push you away - a heart-wrenching moment, as you fear you may have done her a terrible wrong and imposed your will upon her in a way you would never have wanted to do. But her resistance turns almost instantly to acceptance, and then submission as she moves her hands up from your shoulders to pull you in closer still.

It is a long moment before you can separate, and even then she does not pull away but instead rests her head upon your shoulder, keeping you close in her arms. "Why did you do that?" she asks quietly. There is no accusation in her tone, only puzzlement.

"Because you should never apologize for having feelings," you tell her gently. "I did not wish to hear you do so yet again."

"I am Sworn Protector of the Crown," she whispers in your ear, and the touch of her breath is enough to raise goosepimples in your flesh. "I am bound to the Sword, as one who fights for what is right and good in this world. I cannot allow myself to become ****!"

"There is another reason," you say, pulling away just enough to look into her eyes. "It is simply because I have wanted to, just as much as you have. My beautiful swordmaiden... if such feelings are not a part of what is right and good, then what on Earth can be? Must we continue to fight against them?"

She closes her eyes, taking in a deep and shuddering breath. "Whether for good or ill," she whispers, "I can fight no longer. I yield, my love..." and just as her lips again touch yours, she softly breathes again, "I yield."
