"Sounding good guys. Take five yeah?"

Kirsty placed her guitar down and followed her bandmates out into the evening chill. The usual talk of setlists and gig submissions filled the air as the band's drummer Amy lit a cigarette and gestured toward her,

"Interesting solo at the end there, K."

Kirsty couldn't help but smile, "Fuck off, I lost my place." She knew Amy was just taking the piss.

Amy laughed and finished off her cigarette as the others talked gigs and promoters and the cities music scene being a bit shit.

"Right guys another few run-throughs and call it for tonight."

The band headed back in to rehearsal and Kirsty felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. Checking it, she noticed it wasn't a message.

"...2 seconds just checking something..."

Gem Ladies. Kirsty had no idea or memory of the app, but she felt compelled to try it out. Quickly now, rather than leave it and wonder. It turned out this app was a music-based game, with notation puzzles and general trivia, but it flashed past incredibly quickly and was insanely difficult. She spent around a minute fumbling through the first level before being greeted with a big pink "Better Luck Next Time" and an avatar strutted onto the screen.

It was Kirsty.

The brunette stared fascinated at her digital double. She'd like to say it was coincidence, but the resemblance was uncanny. From the sultry red lipstick and youthful smirk to the black choker to her tight jeans and even, a tad frighteningly, her little clef ankle tattoo. It gave Kirsty a knowing, cocky look and crossed it's arms, rather lewdly pushing up her pert boobs.

Virtual-Kirsty lifted a hand and snapped a finger, prompting a music-notation-stylised menu to flow into the screen in front of the doppelganger.

Author's Note. Wanted to make a thread of the Gem Ladies idea based on song titles. The first three here are rock and metal songs but I'll pick from any genre really. Enjoy and cheers!
