I make sure to walk slowly enough that I am the last one in the group. Then, at the right spot, I step to my left and disappear into the forest. They never saw me leave.

I’ve got a little spot in the forest that I’ve known about for some years. Something that I discovered on one of the many Samhains I’ve been participating in. There are some boulders right next to the river which are easy to climb. There also are not a lot of trees or bushes on either side of this part of the river. From there, it is easy to see when and where people are crossing the river. And if the moon is shining bright, I can even tell who it is. Thanks to this spot, I have been able to catch a lot of women. One every year in fact. I never had a year in which I didn’t catch any body. All I have to do now, is wait until they start showing up.
