Kenny Stays Behind With Nicole

Kenny's eyes locked onto Nicole's, the fiery redhead waiting, staring, a mixture of hope and clear disgruntlement. He could feel himself growing intimidated by her, even when she was the one who did something wrong, but even still, Kenny kinda understood her. He flicked his eyes over to Mindy for just a moment before letting out a sigh, he and Mindy were always going to be good friends, he could wait on talking with her. Kenny wet his lips and looked back towards Nicole, "I'll stay here with you Nikki," Nicole's head moved back slightly in surprise while Mindy squeezed her eyes shut, a complete feeling of defeat overcoming her.

Nicole wet her red lips and slightly narrowed her eyes, "What if I don't want you here, huh?" She asked with a challenging look,

Rachel couldn't help but roll her eyes, Kenny was right, Nicole was being a bit unreasonable. Though Kenny seemed to be a bit amused by this question, "Well, it's a big place, I'm sure you could ignore me easily enough." He merely replied with a shrug,

Nicole let out a small exhaling laugh and shook her head, "Yeah?" She eyed Kenny for another minute, a feeling of joy spreading through her mind as she was sure her actions would have ruined everything, "Fine, Kenny, stay here...be my fucking guest," She said with a small toss of her eyes,

"Thanks," Kenny sarcastically replied while getting up and heading out of the room, up towards his room.

Twenty minutes past while the others got ready, Mindy, JJ, Brian, and Kailyn headed towards the mines while Rachel took Zoey, Eric, and Anna to the fire towers. In that time, Kenny sat in his room and didn't see or hear a single thing from Nicole. Once everyone was gone, and he was still alone, Kenny started to question if this was even a good idea. After all, Nicole was the real one who made a mistake, and now she was acting like Kenny was the devil.

Another few minutes past before Kenny bitterly shook his head and got up, he walked towards his closet and was just about to grab his jacket and head out to catch up with the others when Nicole finally walked into their room. Immediately Nicole's eyes flared up, "Where the fuck are you going?"

Kenny felt his upper lip twitch; he was tired of being so nice a civil with Nicole, she didn't deserve that, "I'm fucking done, Nikki. I was gonna try and talk to you, see if I could talk things out but you clearly don't seem to fucking care,"

"What are you fucking talking about, Clark?" Nicole snapped out,

"What am I talking about?!" Kenny suddenly barked back causing Nicole to jump and go wide-eyed, "I just had to fucking listen to you tell me about you fucking Brian, then telling me I'm nothing to you, Nicole!" Kenny spat out, "But what do I do? I try and give this another chance, but you can't even be bothered to come talk to me! So I'm leaving, see you later today, Nicole," He dryly finished while grabbing his jacket and moving towards the door,

"W-wait," Nicole whimpered while holding her hands up, "Please, just give me a chance,"

"I did," Kenny muttered back as he reached her,

"I know...please, Kenny, just-I need you to listen to me." Nicole begged, "I'm sorry, okay? Will you listen to me now? I am very, very sorry," She sincerely apologized,

Kenny scrunched his nose while lowering his head and letting out a sharp exhale. Even if he knew he shouldn't do it, he wanted to hear Nicole out, give her this final chance. Kenny wet his lips and looked back up, "Fine, five minutes, say what you need to say,"

Nicole gave him a rapid nod, "Okay, okay, I...um...oh fucking god, this is...weird," Nicole mumbled under his breath while Kenny crossed his arms, "Look, you know I'm not exactly a, I don't know, a person who commits or whatever. I'm...free, I mess around, tease guys and just kinda go my own way,"

"Nicole I told you yesterday, and I'll say it again, I am not like those guys. I'm not going to be strung along and fucked with this whole fucking week, you want that, go mess with Brian some more, I'm out," Kenny sternly stated with a dismissive frown,

"I know!" Nicole swiftly agreed, "That's not what I'm trying to say, I...I acted out last night, I did, not you." Kenny's eyebrow slightly raised, "When I saw Rachel kiss you and Mindy...Mindy with you, I-I."

"What?" Kenny pressed while his arms lowered,

Nicole rolled her lips in and hung her head for a moment, "I got so fucking mad, Kenny," She whispered out, "I didn't want either of them touching you...I wanted to be the only one who did that,"

"So you fucked Brian to get back at me?" Kenny muttered back making Nicole shut her eyes, "Does that make sense to you? You didn't like seeing me make a drunk mistake so you figured you'd make a sober one? How is that fucking fair, tell me that, Nikki."

"I can't," Nicole whimpered in return, "I wasn't thinking right, I never...I never felt like that before!" She exclaimed, "Alright Kenny? You fucking-you broke me! I felt cheated on!"

"You felt cheated on?! I don't even remember it, Nikki! But you remember everything with Brian, don't you?!" Kenny shot back,

"Yeah, I remember thinking about you!" Nicole screamed, stopping Kenny dead, "Uh-huh, that's right, I-I thought about you, alright? What do you want from me, Kenny? I'm sorry, I messed up because I felt hurt, okay?"

"Why didn't you just say that earlier instead of shouting at me?" Kenny asked with a toss of his hands, "Why do you insist on lying about how you fucking feel, Nikki?"

"Because I don't know what this is!" Nicole replied before bringing her hands up and rubbing her face slowly. After a minute of silence, Nicole slowly moved them away from her now red face, "Are you still leaving?" She asked with a small eye on Kenny's jacket.
