Kendall had received a ring in the mail. It was gold ring with a single, flawless sapphire. She put the ring on and admired it. She had no idea who sent it. She was on her way to the salon to get her hair and make-up done when she received a call on her phone. She did not recognize the number, so she did not answer it.

She then received a text from the same number: Do you like the ring?

She texted back Who is this?

Answer the phone.

The phone rang again.

"Hello?"

"Nice ring. I like your ring a lot."
